Yes totally.
But then again I'm not surprised they are going to use this movie to push every single figure they have left over from previous lines. It might be a good time to pick up something you missed at a reasonable price.

Looks like Real Gear's getting a watch, and a video game controller . Wonder what Booster means?

Yeah but wth is deluxe arcee? I agree the scouts all sound like repaints/reissues but the deluxes and the voyager thundercracker have me going

Will they be done in the movie style or classics style? I guess we'll find out at toyfair.

If I had to guess that series is just the transformers version of the star wars galactic heroes or whatever they were called. The figures that are made for toddlers and come in 2 packs. They're doing it with marvel now too. The first list is probably g1 styled and the galactic versions are the movie styled -- if I had to guess. I'd bank money on it.



Edit: ok my guess is thundercracker is a repaint of starscream, they're not going to get many repaints out of this line so they're doing on obvious one possibly. The movie legends are probably the non-transforming super articulated transformers figures.

Well, those are my guesses. Unless they are new molds, which is entirely likely.

I'm positive those 2 packs are just the toddler 2 packs we've seen for every other hasbro toy line. Sorry to burst the bubble but there's no way they'd make that many 2 packs of brand new transforming molds. And the "robot heroes" goes along with the star wars name "galactic heroes".

The bigger versions of Arcee and such sound interesting but I'm a little concerned. These could be the Classics figures they said they were kicking the idea of around at botcon but if that's the case where's Cosmos and why are they now in the Movie line as opposed to just under Classics? The design style of the two are entirely different. I'm just hoping that the Arcee we finally get isn't some movie styled rendition that's pretty much Arcee in name only. Same goes for the others.

More really interesting stuff... someone at TFW2005 mentioned this may be like the Star Wars Heroes that came out with Episode III, little super deformed toys. These would be cool... but I'm still holding out for some transforming toys. YAY! So many cool classic characters there I can't decide who I'm most excited about!!!

The 'Galactic' versions are protoforms I'm guessing?

These listings are getting me more excited about the movie than the actual movie is... how... sad.

This might be the first line where I might actually prefer the non-movie(show) characters. That way if the toys are good I can imagine that aren't connected to the Movie. There are a lot of interesting names in there, but as we all know the toys could turn out very different to what we might expect/hope for from each name. As the movie writers said "the clothes do not makith the man", which basically equates to regardless of the name/character used the robot could look absolutely nothing like.

That all does sound intriguing. Be nice to finally get an 'Energon' Arcee. Hopefully all the Basics will get nicely recoloured so I can fill out my Omnicon ranks.

Would prefer Jazz, Barricade and the other cars to be Basics so I won't be getting them. I like to mix as much TF's into my continuity as I can but refuse to acknowledge larger than Basic cars as they just look wrong.

Even as a kid, would not mix the Protectobots with the likes of Prowl. If a kid can grasp the concept of scale, why can't 'adult' designers.

Anyway, still nice to see such a large range for the movie toys. Probably be lucky to get half of them in Ireland though.

heres hopeing they show these off at botcon. as for the double listings of names, im guessing same character, diffrent lame action gimmick.

Honestly, it sounds like Minicon repaints to me.

Could be Deluxe/Deluxe or Deluxe/Basic two packs, but I still think Minicon repaints, maybe a few new minicon molds thrown in.

The unarticulated Galactic Heroes figures are a good guess too though.

The leader class Brawl excites me a bit.

So the deluxe Starscream we've seen isn't the full size version. Nice!

I'm honestly glad their releasing different sized versions of many of them. Then I can actually buy the correct ones to keep them all in scale.

I think my wallet just died, came back to life, died again, came back, got ran over, came back again, & was finally stuck in an iron maiden.

Oh dear god in heaven...is all that coming out at the SAME TIME?? Or will our wallets and credit cards be spared the fury of a full onslaught of cool TF toys only to be slowly drained over the course of the waining months? OK...posting again in a second...I need to do some math...

Looks like I'm going to be pretty picky with this line.

I'm guessing we're up for a lot of repaints.
I hope that whatever new moulds they make do not end up as Bayformers.

I'm getting the impression that I won't be buying much of that stuff. Maybe I can use the money I'll save from not getting TFs to help pay for college stuff, or pursue my other hobbies. Here's to the future!
