Well, I got myself a Powerlinx Thrust off of eBay, and it got here today.

I opened the box, and I was a little surprised. I thought I got the wrong thing, so I brought up the auction... yep, it's the pictured product alright, I just didn't notice it.

This is the regular Powerlinx Thrust:

And this is the one I got:

Anyone know anything about this?

the red one is the one we were supposed to get but Hasbro changed it to brown at the last minuite. The red one was released in Japan and is much harder and more expensive to find.

It was probably an import or a few of the red ones "may" have trickled thru. I don't remember. But this quote from Seibs himself says "This version of Thrust was widely available in Japan and Israel, but not in the U.S."

Some made it to the UK as well, along with Airzor. But yes, the red Thrust was supposed to replace the gold Thrust (known to some fans as "Dirge") in later waves.
