I discovered that I'm somehow missing Excellion's gun / missile. I looked back at the Legends class Excellion and noticed that I didn't have the gun/missile in the comparison photos with the Deluxe class figure so I must've been missing it a year and a half or so ago when I took those pics as well.

Anyways, I was looking on eBay and a few other online stores when I noticed that there's a two pack of Cybertron Excellion and Thundercracker in Universe packaging, which must mean the pair are available somewhere at discount stores ... or they were at some point.

Before I drop down around $30 for this set, might you guys know where I could find this set so that I can get it sooner and not have to pay online prices just so that I can get Excellion's gun? I want it so that I can do comparison photos with Botcon Goldbug from this year's Shattered Glass set. Excellion's missing weapon is the thing that's been holding up the photos from this year's set.

Any help would be greatly appreciated guys! Thanks in advance my friends!

I had it in June 2006 when I took the pics of Deluxe Class Cybertron Excellion.



But it went missing at some point prior to November 2006 when I took the pics of Legends Class Excellion. I vaguely remember looking for it but didn't put much effort into looking for it because it wasn't necessary for the gallery since the Legends Class version didn't have a gun anyways.



After spending about 6 hours this weekend looking for it and going through my whole big rubbermaid tub of accessories and spending more time organizing weapons and missiles from all series by color this time to make things easier to find in the future (separated by color and series). I hate when parts mysteriously go missing. Really irks me because I take such pride in the organization of my collection. It's probably wherever some of my G2 Gobots / Spychangers guns went, some of my Action Masters guns and those mysterious missing socks went.

I saw it at Wal-Mart months ago, it's probably long gone from there. I don't remember, but it could have been an exclusive.

I bought that 2 pack from Walmart on Black Friday...
Don't know if it's still at any stores.

A whole pallet of those were gone in minutes.

Yes I've been working on them the last couple of days in my spare time. I'm to the point where I need to do comparison pics. I've pulled out all of the figures necessary for the comparison pics but can't find Excellion's gun/missile.

Also decided now would be a great time to do galleries of the Voyager class Megatron that was part of the TRU Deluxe Energon Prime vs Voyager Megatron set a couple of years ago. I'm also finally doing the Cybertron Smokescreen gallery as well to accompany Jazz and Ricochet from this year's Botcon set.

I saw that back in Cybertron packaging at both Wal-Mart and Toys R Us. It's been months since I've seen it last. I never saw it in Universe packaging.

The ones I'm inquiring about are the Universe packaged 2 pack in hopes that I might be able to find them at a store this week rather than buying them on eBay.

I've been seeing a lot of Universe restocks at the KB near me lately. I can't recall seeing that 2-pack specifically, though.

Have you tried big lots they have almost ever universe two pack there is.

Unfortunately, this was a 2-pack that was only sold at Wal-mart(and maybe Toys-r-us?) back around Christmas time last year. I remember pulling them out of the cardboard box going whoa, and then they were gone two days later. There was another one too, Cannonball and ??can't remember??. I'm sorry, but you're not going to find them in any store now, unless you're very very very lucky.

My first Tf's were the cybertron KBToys Hotshot and thundercracker 2 pack.

A Walmart by me had a few of these left in the clearance section last week! I am actually going there today for something else. I'll look for it for you.

These were Black Friday Walmart exclusives.

Yes, these were for Black Friday '07 at WalMart. I saw a palette of them at that time, I didn't buy any because I already had the figs. I think there were two sets total, Excellion/Thundercracker, and Cannonball/Downshift.

I have no idea if they found their way to other retailers.

It was Walmart they had them in a old Universe style 2-pack for "Black Friday". I bought 1 for the Thundercracker because I already had Excellion. If you would like to sent me a private message with your address I will just send you my extra gun. Let me know, it wouldn't be a problem.

Ryan, if you need it you can have mine. Just let my get home and make sure it's still where I think it is and it's yours.

EDIT: Excellon's gun & missile that is.

Update on the BotCon galleries: I've begun cropping the photos for the vehicle mode pics of the photos I've already taken. I just received Superlink SD-20 Galvatron General today so I can finish up the BotCon Megatron pictures tonight. I hope to start having something up by tomorrow and through this weekend for you guys to start enjoying.
