Have any of you guys ever had trouble buying a certain figure? I'm debating shelling out $350 for a MISB Shockwave at a store I was at today, or completing the Original Crew of The Ark on ebay, which is only 4 figures. Then again, I need 4 more Throttlebots, 2 more of the Wreckers, etc, etc. Of course Wheeljack, Sunstreaker, Trailbreaker & Mirage are the only figures left from 1984 that I need. What do I do?!?!

A very tough decision....if you try to complete the rest of the original Ark crew...you might be able to get down to two if you get two of the figures that you listed. But I do not know how picky you are with figures because the ones that you listed can be tough to find in excellent to mint condition, particularly 3 of them (Wheeljack, Sunstreaker, and Mirage) because those are the ones that do not have reissues at this point.

However, a MISB Shockwave is hard to come by too.

Suck it up, buy that Shockwave and be happy with the knowledge that you own what is to many people(myself included) a Holy Grail Transformer.

C'mon bro, it's a MISB Shockwave - C'mon!

My Holy Grail TF is a MISB Fort Max. And by Primus, one day, I WILL own him!! Until then, well, we'll see who can take his place...
