Hasbro Toy Shop has updated its website with new information regarding Transformers Animated pre orders.

New listings have appeared for TFA Grimlock




And for TFA Lugnut




But that's not all. The original June 24th release for all Animated figures has been bumped up to May 25th 2008 for most preorders.

So they come out at the very end of May.

The June date held true, they just moved it to early June.

Why would you name an aircraft Lugnut?

I'd say a full 30 days earlier than projected release is something good. If you're looking at it in the "It still won't get to me until June" aspect, then consider the fact that the original release date would get you the figures in July.

finnaly, it looks as if my optimus will come early, also i found grimlock on the site for pre-order 4 days ago

I'm also hoping some of these movie shelf-warmers go super cheap when Animated comes out. It seems like all my local stores are stuffed with movie toys that aren't selling. Even the Deluxe price reduction at Target is hardly a clearance sale. I'm looking for $3-4. I can't understand why the RealGear stuff hasn't gone way down, at least.

I called them and asked and they said that they charge your credit card when the order ships.

Placed my preorder, figure this is better than driving all over hunting for these with gas prices the way they are. Wonder why you can preorder Leader Bulkhead, but Voyager is listed as coming soon. Seems like it should be the other way around.

Lugnut's not included in the new date.

EDIT: Is this just for HTS or actual in-store (B&M) dates?

If it is being moved up altogether, that would fit with the rest of the distribution around the world. Holland is getting their Deluxes and Voyagers by the end of May. (Deluxes by the end of April apparently.)
