Who do you think?

We already know that the Powerglide mold will be repainted into Stormcloud, Sunsteaker into Sideswipe and Prowl into "Streak" but how about the rest of the new molds. Please add in any I forgot!

Prowl = Smokescreen
Tankor = ??
Hound = Swindle
Ironhide = Trailbreaker (going out on a limb for that one)
Galvatron = Bludgeon
Powerglide = ??
Onslaught = ??
Silverbolt = (no matter who, it's gonna be a stretch, cause that mold screams Silverbolt)

You forgot the easiest of all!!

Ironhide > Ratchet

I'm thinking Onslaught can also be turned to Hardhead. He's kinda similar looking in the IDW comics

That is the most obvious one.

I don't think they'll all be repainted into different characters.

They should be used for Botcon exclusives, like the older Classics have been.
Otherwise, we'll see repaints for those same characters;

"Arctic Freeze Tankor"

I know those names are bad, but you get the point.

(I know it's Sunstreaker's mold as well but it'll use Sideswipe's transformation)

Powerglide = Hadn't this already been confirmed to be Tailwind? I could have sworn this was said at one point. He could also be Bad Boy, or Triggerhappy maybe
Onslaught = G2 Onslaught (Yellow and Purple), or one of the various Camo schemes the original Onslaught mold got for R.I.D He'd still be Onlsaught though.
Silverbolt = G2 Silverbolt, maybe Nightflight.

Repain Silverbolt into Dai Atlus' second in command Sonicbomber! Their alt modes are quite similar.

He could also be paint as Overlord's plane component.

Powerglide becomes Tailwind(micromaster), I would have said Badboy but he's already white and Tailwind's Blue/Grey with a red canopy is nice.

There was a Micromaster called 'Sunrunner' who turned into a airplane similar to Tankor's, he was a sand cream colour with olive green and brown, if they put a factory black wash over that scheme it would look very effective.

Powerglide should be repainted into a Cobra Rattler. Yeah.

I want to see Sunstreaker and Sideswipe repainted into Dead End and Breakdown. Just for fun.

Call me crazy, but I don't think they are going to do Ironhide into Ratchet. And he's already been done by Botcon, so they won't do him again either.

Now that's what I'm talking about.

I'm assuming that the deluxe and legend sized figures will be re-painted the most, as universe does't get as many ultra classed figures as it does deluxe size. Me thinks we are just getting these Ultras to kick off the line, with a few thrown in here and there, whenever the other lines (animated and movie 2) are on a downswing.

Haven't they already hinted that they'll be repainting Ironhide into Ratchet at some point in the future, after the Animated version is off the shelves?

How about Silverbolt as Darkwing to go with his buddy Dreadwind?

I think the Datsun Bros mold would make a good Jazz if they don't make a new one for him.

And then there's the Punch/Counterpunch idea that's been thrown around so much.

The Prowl mold, with a little remolding, would make a great Jazz. Maybe tinker with the legs so they look different, make sure the doors sit flat against his back instead of as wings. Oh, and remove the left hand shoulder gun, leaving the right one in case people want to deploy it for G1 toy accuracy.

Wouldn't surpise me if Silverbolt gets repainted into another one of the Air Strike Patrol. Onslaught... how about Sidetrack from the Battle Patrol? Or Dropshot from the Military Patrol?

I doubt it. Hasbro seems to have learnt from that mistake.

I like those names! Every Transformer should have a rain forest theme.

I'm not complaining about it, but what's up with all the Micromaster homages all of a sudden? I think it's cool, but they're just the last G1 homages I'd expect honestly. At least they don't have stupid ass names like the stupid ass Action Masters....

Darkwing is a great idea, that's a pretty decent fit.

I'd LOVE a Punch/Counterpunch made from the Sunstreaker/Sideswipe mold. That would rock in a 100 different ways a once!

Truth was/is Hasbro doesn't want BotCon sets competing with their main line. That's one of the reasons we did not get a second dose of Classics at BotCon this year.

Makes sense. I though they got it spot on this year: some cool stuff, but not something that was going to have people who couldn't attend up in arms about it.
