It looks like Takara/Tomy will be releasing more Beast Wars reissues. Rakuten.co.jp has posted an announcement that Takara/Tomy will be releasing two more Beast Wars reissues. The reissues will be TM-12 Gimlet, known in the U.S. as Sea Clamp, and TM-13 Motor Arm, know in the U.S. as, Ramhorn. The figures will be released this summer in August.

I'd like those variants. I like the idea of them as Maximals, plus what other Transformers can claim to be a giant beetle Mexican sumo wrestler besides Motorarm? What could be cooler?

It sounds like an idiot move. The two figures aren't particularly interesting without their other combiner partner.

How many times have these things been out in Japan now. Seems like they're getting something in the way of Beast Wars every other year. Not that I'm envious or anything....

Cool, those are repaints.
I got Tripredicus when he was in retail.
I like that combiner. I found the transformations
without instructions difficult. Especially the
beetle.
Nice

I'll make a bet that th last member of the team is on the way, and perhaps a new Magnaboss will follow

I loved the look of Tripredacus, but he was just so dammed fragile.

Really? I've never heard of this problem. Both of the ones I have are perfectly fine.

Further evidence that the Japanese are loony.

That is a head scratcher, why only release 2 of a 3 part set.
These are some fun toys though. To many Beast Warriors go unapreciated.

why not scorponok instead of a lobster or rhino beetle?

Why not characters that were actually IN the Beast Wars cartoon. I'd really like to see Terrorsaur, Rattrap, and Scorponok.

What about Scorponok or Terrorsaur. I say start with the main characters then move to the non-show ones. Well I might try get them anyways never had Tripedacus anyways.

Enough of your [/lies] !
Anyway, given the popularity of Magnaboss and Tripredacus in Japan (due to BW II) this isn't a big shocker to me, but, as others have already pointed out, it makes little to no sense to remake them two and not Cicadacon.

Well, we all know that Cicadacon will be some overpriced convention exclusive and --
oh, right,
Takara... Nevermind.

Tripledacus seemed quite in-cartoon to me when I actually
watched the Beast Wars II movie. You've conveinently forgotten that this is a
Japanese Beast Wars reissue line. They got three shows, not one, and Corahda and Archadis certainly weren't released from their appearances in the Mainframe series - because they didn't exist until years later, in BW Neo!
I'm irked that, aside from a missing member (probably later), these have either bumped Drancron's release down or, worse, he'll be cancelled!

Both of Cicadacon's missiles broke, and one of the pegs that links Sea-clamp to Cicadacon broke. And I wasn't exactly rough on him. Bad batch of plastic maybe?

I'm really suprised Takara didn't already reissue Rattrap yet. When I saw the title of this thread, I was really hoping he'd be one of the new reissues. I realize that he was reissued not too long ago by Hasbro but I wanted to see the Takara version. So far Takara's reissue line has looked really good.

Rattrap's already been released under the Hasbro line, but still...I'd have preferred a tripedacus triple pack instead of two thirds.
However, the tripedacus did appear in Agenda part 1, albeit a shallow cameo appearance.

both were parts of tripledactus - the non predcon version of the combiner, that was featured prominently in beast wars the second. So they had a lot more screen time in japan.
Dont know if they plan to release anything as big as scorpinok or inferno in this line looking at the standard size of the boxes and the fact that everyone so far has been deluxe or smaller.
I would like to see the basic version of Rattrap rereleased with better colours.

I think if they do release the third part then this reissue could be a good set.
