How is HTS to deal with?

I've never ordered from them before, but I now have most of the Animated line on preorder with them and some of Universe 2.0. Just figured this would be easier than wasting precious gas hunting for them. Straight from the source seemed like the best choice. Any thoughts?

Well, outside of the probable one or two(who will be the hard one to find in these lines?!?), these should be easy enough to find.

So I'll ask what cost more, the shipping or the gas?

Also, explect these items to arrive a week or later to your house than the shelves.

Ordering from HTS is basically always cheaper than gas. I ordered and got both Premium Megatron and Prime for $70 (shipping included from HTS)

Preorder but make sure you use any number of discount codes that they have for the site at the time. I have gotten AT LEAST 10% off every item I ordered. The last order has 4 preordered items on it and because of the 10% off, I am paying only 1$ over the retail in a store (extra dollar is the shipping cost minus the 10% discount).

So $1 vs running around trying to find the items at stores. If you burn half a gallon of gas and buy at retail, then you have paid more than I did.

If you like hunting, by all means, but if you are going for savings, order online! (of course, it has to be available to order, unlike premium bumblebee)

So no problems with shipping or things not going out when they are scheduled? While I do enjoy the hunt, the only retailer in my town that sells TF is Wal-Mart and this particular one never has that great of a selection. I would just assume have theses show up on my doorstep. I did use discount codes as you suggested, got ten percent off my entire order which equaled out to a free Voyager or no shipping depending on how you want to look at it.

I haven't had any problems either. I enjoy the hunt but not at $4 a gallon. I was also fortunate to use a %20 and free shipping on the Animayed line.

Don't bother me a bit to get them a week later than the stores.

The only bummer is you have to be home when your package is delivered or pick it up from the post office...not really a big deal unless you're like me and your friggin' local post office's hours of business conveniently happen to be where they open after you leave for work and close before you get home. Really sucks getting that "come get your chit" card in the mail on Monday then having to wait till Saturday to go pick up your package.

I live in the middle of nowhere in Oklahoma, my rural mail carrier leaves everything on my front porch.

In my situation, if the box is not too large, the P.O will deliver it and place it in a separate box at my apartment complex. But I hate it when I get a notice on Friday and I have to wait to pick it up on Monday (if the carrier cannot deliver it). My post office is not open on Saturdays.

They are great, especially when there is a discount code!

Nothing now, I wish it was 10% off plus free shipping.

Speaking of discount codes, can those be used more than once by the same customer? Can I just keep using the same code until it expires or will it reject the code after the I use it once?

Its a great place to find unsold Hasbro convention exclusive items. Just don't forget to use the active discount codes! I think they have two active codes right now.

Edit: Just checked my email and they sent me an email March 13th that I would get it in 2-3 weeks......hmmmmmm

I guess I can't really refute that, but if the mail carrier follows the delivery method requested by the sender that may not be the case. Buying stuff off eBay, some packages are left on my front step, some require me being there in person (or picking up from the post office when I'm not there.) Both the Hasbro packages required someone receiving the package in person...

I'm pretty sure my renegade mail man has his own set of rules :P Either way if I have to go pick them up at the PO no biggie, I have the kind of job where I can leave whenever I want. I will probably start using HTS whenever possible, the codes usually make up for the shipping.
