TakaraTomy has updated their Transformers website: http://www.takaratomy.co.jp/products/TF/ with lots of new information. The first thing you’ll notice is an image of Binaltech Blue Streak on the front page. A tab for the Binaltech page has been added, but is not available yet.

Next check out the Movie page: http://www.takaratomy.co.jp/products/TF/products/moviemenu.html for official images of: Battlemode Optimus Prime & Battlemode Bumblebee. Both figures will be released this month.

Finally, head over to the Events page: http://www.takaratomy.co.jp/products/TF/event/event.html for several exclusive delights.
Henkei Skywarp
Henkei Thundercracker
Henkei Clear Optimus Prime

Clear Optimus Prime will be available at the International Tokyo Toy Show on June 21st & 22nd. eHobby will offer a few on their website through a lottery service at a later date.

Thundercracker and Skywarp will be available through Toy Hobby Market & Ganbo-Store.com. Both sites will begin accepting pre-orders May 22nd but neither site has been updated yet.

I felt a great disturbance in the Fandom, as if hundreds of Botconners suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.

:-P Just kidding. Wonder how insanely expensive TC will be?

I think it's great that those two will be available if somewhat limited in Japan. I can't wait to see some really clear pics of clear Convoy.

Unfortunately, I bet he will be incredibly expensive as he'll most likely be the one most people are after.

Both of them look far superior to the ones already produced as well

I'm finding Skywarp tempting (despite owning two of the Classics version) because of the more G1 accurate colours. DAMN YUO, JAPAN!!!

Finally a classics Thundercracker that those of us in the middle of nowhere can potentially get their hands on... ...so tempting. I wonder how much they will want for it?

OK boys here's your chance. Step up to the plate and order this as soon as you can. Are you now willing to pay more for your $10 toy?

Pony up and lets see what you got!

Well, there's a 3000 JPY pricetag under them... Let's see... 1 USD is appr. 108 JPY... 28 $. Better then 300$.

Of course people shouldn't assume they'll post outside of Japan ...

I prefer the Classics Skywarp design. It's more creative. Retaining the traditional feel, and yet, making it new and closer to what a real jet can be.

Henkei design is too... G1. Not that G1 is bad or anything.

:O thank you japan ^^

i was then gonna buy the hasbro skywarp too but something made me check here first and i'm well glad i did, altho i liked the "pink" and grey paint on the bk of classics skywarp's jet mode but i guess the overall colours on the henkei one is just too much to beat. plus all gd for TC anythings gotta be better then £150+ right?
just when are they actaully released? the pre-orders 22nd so we talken a few months later like near ultra magnus?

1 seeker down 2 to go takara

This is good and bad news. Good because all those who don't have a version of Thundercracker will get another shot. Bad because I lose faith in Botcon figures truly remaining "exclusive" to the Botcon event.

Finally a chance for me and lots of other collectors to complete their Classics seekers. But it is still exclusive to an overseas store though.

Can't find any reference on either website to them shipping abroad, but I am stuggling through Google's translator. Anyone with language skills want to email them?

Oh HELL yeah. This almost makes up for us having to wait almost a year longer than you guys to get the damn classics in the first place.

Well, people should be mad at Botcon, I mean, thats what they get when they use Seekers and Coneheads as exclusives.

"Gee I'll take arguably the most popular group of TF's and make them convention exclusives, all the while expecting Takara or anyone else not to make them for regular release. I R Botcon!!!111!!"

I wonder if I can get my money from BotCon back. I won't be going to any more BotCons.

That's a bit of an extreme reaction. It's not like the people behind Botcon are responsible for the actions of Takara.

Tough. They put the word "Exclusive" on it. It's like not honoring a warrantee.

Sweet! Guess I need to poke at my friend in Japan and see if she can dig me up a Thundercracker!

Yay, I've got this sorted out. Gonna get mine ordered through a third party company. Just the one though, I'll forget the second and leave it for some other lucky soul.
