Ahhh... I thought you meant the *character* Blaster. I was confused.

So... the Energon roleplay blaster in movie Prime colours? It's very... blue.

The KiddieBots I like.

That Blaster will never see inside my house though, and I buy everything!

Yeah, and kinda red.

Bad news... It IS the character Blaster, and MAN does it suck to be him right about now. :)

Ravage is adorable, but I won't be getting the gun... No one will, with the Big Rig and Barrel Roll Blasters out there. They should hevae just made a Bumblebeee "Burnt Rubber Blaster" or a Blackout (I can't think of a "BR Blaster" name for him, though I'd go with "Hurrican Blaster" anyhow) nerf gun and saved themselves a cameo appearance in the clearance aisle. (Preferably Blackout, they could sacrifice the propeller blades by making them barrels, and we'd have a nerf gattling gun.)

Do they absolutely need to call this weapon a blaster, though? I thought they created a new, non-transforming Blaster figure, like maybe a 3" titanium or something. Or maybe a "KiddieBot" Blaster, as Liege Evilmus called those figures.

Yeah, I thought the same thing when I read "blaster." Love the little kitty Ravage! I'm liking these things more and more!

How about "Transformers Dart Gun" instead of the slightly misleading "Blaster"?

WTF, they just SDed Basic Titanium G1 Prime, but fixed his gun's colour. No matter, I'll pick him up. Ravage looks too funny. DO WANT.

I know I already posted on this but I wanna go on record saying I thought the same as the rest of you when I read BLASTER.

It wasn't the end of the world when I saw it was about a toy gun. The colors did, and will continue to sicken me, but otherwise, okay...

There ARE Nerf gatling guns and chaingun cannons, even belt-fed ones. So far all the movie Nerf guns seem to be shotloaders (meaning you have to reload after every shot) except for the Barrel Roll, but only because it has 2 barrels. If Blackout's followed this pattern, it would shoot 4 darts before you had to reload. Some gatling gun.
(Yes, I am a Nerf enthusiast.)

Personally, whether or not they're for little kids, if these the Robo Heros have the name "Transformers" in them, they should at least transform...

Oh, the carnage the little kids will have with the dart gun and their younger siblings...

Yes! I get to report something for the second time!

Only slightly, sir?

Yeah, I could get into these, too. Not big on non-transforming transformers toys, but Robot Heroes rock.

Katamari Prime wrote:(from the tfw2005 thread) "Bad kitty, bad" that's what the prime/ravage package looks like to me

Kind of what I'm thinking about Prime and Ravage: "Bad kitty! Bad!"

I really love those Robot heroes, I'll probably buy all of them.

As for the gun as a collector I don't want it, if I was a kid on the other hand...

Why? there are hundered of other transformers that do so, & several versions of these characters. "Transformers" isn't just toys that change...it's also an IP about alien robots...& just because they can change dosen't mean they have to.
Either way, the non-transforming gimmick works, considering the line is called Robot Heroes.

Really? I could have sworn Blackout's prop had six blades, which is prety unusual for a copter TF, since, admittedly, most do have four. Still, it wasn't just about it being a nerf gat, it was about it being a nerf gat with a decepticon symbol and a vehicle mode. :P

Poor Blaster, his name will be connotated with that horrible Energon gun for years to come.

I sure hope the Blaster comes with more than two missiles, those things have the miraculous power to anish...

You mean you meant six?

It's like that bit from that Monty Python movie where the guy keeps saying three instead of five, isn't it? :)

Damn it! :BANG_HEAD: Man, I am NOT myself today...

@ i_amtrunks: If want to get that dart gun (for whatever reason) and want some more ammo, it might be compatible with Nerf Micro Darts, but I'm not sure. It is made by Hasbro, after all. I stockpilled Nerf ammo when it was cheap last year, between playing darts with a dartboard behind a plane of glass and my Nerf guns, the darts wear out due to use as well as get lost...

As mentioned before, the Robot Heroes look like a cutesified version of the Titanium G1 Optimus.

Honestly, I don't know why people want their Optimus Prime's to be pointing in the first place but whatever.

What really gets me the most is how a figure with an oustretched arm and pointing a single finger would not be considered a hazard to children's eyes...

As for the "non transforming Transformers suck," to each their own I suppose. I have the revoltech Prime and the PVC Convoy (which is like the Gundam MSIA figures) both of which are pretty kick ass
