I bought this at Dairycon because I thought it looked cool, and it is, but I have no idea what it is incase I watn to buy more or atl least the ones that connect to it. There is some writing in Japanese (I assume), but the only English on the box says, "The Powerful Robot." At least can someone translate any of this?

It's a Brave Figure, it's an original Takara piece (Brave was the series that came after Transformers from Takara). It's name is Power Dagwon from the Dagwon series and can combine with a Jet Robot called Fire Dagwon.

I was told it was a knock off. It doesnt' say Takara on it anywhere (in English, anyway). Is it worth anything?

It's definitely from the Brave series. The little cartoon pic of the Red Guy is on my Dag-Base (remould of Grandus). The particular series was Dug-On (I think).

It seems to be a KO. The Takara name or symbol would be on the back, bottom right.

Price, don't know. How badly is it desired? That is the question. I went to Prime Saber's Brave Series page http://www.primesaber.com/TF/Brave/Brave.html and didn't see anything for it. But I'm not in the Brave series circles, so I really can't answer that.

Yep, it's a KO of Power Dagwon from Yuusha Shirei Dagwon (Brave Command Dagwon / Dug-On). He can combine with Fire Dagwon into Super Fire Dagwon.

Genuine Brave figures are hard to find as they were restricted to Japan, though some of them have been released in Korea. At times, Korean figures are easier to find, since Sonokong, who got a license from Takara, kept producing them well after Takara stopped.

As for KO's, Fire Dagwon has been KO'ed many times, in fact I know of an oversized one in my local toy store. Been there for years. If you're wondering about the name of the KO you have: Padaa Waguon. The original is called Pawaa Daguon, Power Dagwon :P

Haha! Padaa Waguon! He should be in a police uniform. Then we could call him Paddy Wagon. (I'm very sorry for that. It slipped out.)
