Target has gotten into the mix of potential places that you can get your upcoming Transformers Animated figures from.

Up for preorder are:

Bulkhead

Megatron

Starscream

Optimus Prime

and the Battle Begins Two Pack

The Voyager and Battle Begins two pack figures all have a price point of $19.99 USD. So if you've been holding off on getting these or have a potential discount code for Target.com, here's your chance to get a preorder in. Projected release date in August 2008.

I hope Prime's just mistransformed, cause he looks a little... short.

Judge him by his size, do you? Hmm? Hmm. And well you should not. For his ally is a sodding great axe, and a powerful ally it is.

They are. Target's just waiting for their reset before they put them out, according to this. If that's the case, it's a really stupid move because all of the other stores will have beaten them to the punch...by months.

I doubt Target would miss out on such a lucrative line.

Walmart has the same schedule when it comes to there resets

As for not getting them
I'm not going to say no .When the Indiana Jones toys hit it seemed like Target everywhere where putting them out early...Not my store they follow the rules

So if you get a DPCI by then you might be in luck

True, Wal-Mart does have the same time frame for resets, but they honor the street dates, they did it with the Movie line and they will with Animated. I asked when they were due in and the woman told me June 22nd at midnight. They'll be on a pallet. Activators on one side, Deluxes on another, Voyagers on the third and the 2-pack on the fourth.

So if Target doesn't put them out like the other stores, then they're making a really stupid move...never give Wal-Mart the edge, they'll mop the floor up with you as is.

Wow, that lady knows her stuff! I bet if I asked the toy associate in my store about animated toys they would just give me a blank stare. I'll have to find an excuse to go snoop around in the back for the elusive toys near July/August. Not that it really matters since I won't buy them at Wal-Mart anyways, but it would still be fun to see them come off the truck in their boxes. *giggles*

I believe Target will have them come late June, the figures will just be confined to an endcap before they're moved into the aisle.

You obviously should've been raised better.

In another message thread, it's clearly stated that Target's getting the figures on an end cap, but they won't be in the action figure aisle itself, until the reset occurs.

They may get their figures a bit later than everyone else, but they're supposed to be releasing them by the end of June.

Now, you owe him an apology. Man up and say you're sorry.

I live in Taiwan, and the Toys R Us here has released some of the animated toys already. Today I bought Voyager Megatron and Starscream. They released Bulkhead too, but I passed. If only they release Optimus soon...

Thanks for the assist Autobot, I remember reading that thread too, and then couldn't find it. #-o
