i found him in the vintage dept at bbts.. here goes..
He's the same mold as the armada nemesis prime, but his joints, smokestacks, and minicon are grey, and there are shades of dark blue on his torso and minicon as well. also, his grill goes from silver to black in a fade. there are no kitbashing marks, nor has it been painted, he looks like a true mold, but the only info i can find on nemesis prime's are those of the black and tan sort. i was thinking he could be the general black convoy (a japanese release) but i can't find any picture other than the box to confirm that.
so here's some of the pics i have of him, with one next to the original nemesis prime so you can see the differences better. sorry for the pic quality.

From what I can see it just looks like someone unscrewed it and part swapped with the Optimus to get rid of the tan bits. So it doesn't seem to be anything to get worked up about.

It appears to be the Japanese Nemesis Prime, with a Minicon and chest piece swapped out for the normal Super-Con Prime counterparts.

Everything else corresponds to the Japanese release of Nemesis Prime.

Nemesis Prime
Scroll down for the Japanese version with the silver limbs and minicon

It doesn't seem to be Armada Nemesis Prime or Black Standard Convoy. This page has pics of both, but they still don't match up to either:
http://tfu.info/2003/Decepticon/Nemesis ... sprime.htm
The most glaring part that don't seem to fit either version is the chest. The figure in question has blue on the chest. The US version has red, and the Japan version is unpainted. And neither has the black on the grill.

So this is either a custom or a variant. I seem to remember there were some variants of that run, just like the variants of the Cybertron run of the same mold. But I also recall seeing those pics before. Whether it was to show a custom job, or a variant, I'm unsure.

..

frak, computing
hmm, i just don't see how someone could even change the chestplate while i stare at this guyhttp://tfu.info/2002/Autobot/SuperConPrime/optimusprime.htm

Actually... Looking over the Japanese Micron Legend Scourge, it doesn't exactly match. Shoulders have blue insets in Scourge while they are Red inserts in the sample. Its more likely the Armada version with swapped legs chest and minicon for a normal Super-con Prime's parts.

Looking at my Armada Super-con Prime, and cybertron recolor of the same mould, it doesn't seem to difficult to do.

once again, i don't see how someone could possible switch the chest plate and the grey that's in his abdomen area..
the legs i can see, but not the other stuff

There are screws behind the chest plate. If you remove those you can remove the entire front of the mould Abs,chest, the whole shebang. This makes it a simple matter of swapping the complete assembly from one to the other.

That's the great thing about repaints: you can create your own simply by swapping parts.

All this talk about this Nemesis mould is making me want one. I'll see if I can pick up the Japanese one instead, as the paint apps, and silver body parts make it look better than the Armada Scourge with the tan body parts. It would be my Third color scheme for this mould. Super Con Prime, Cybertron Prime, ands Now Nemesis if i can find one. It is a really cool mould
