i love combiners a lot and i was wondering if there are going to be any new combiners coming out soon. i only have the classics devastator and i try to find the energon bruticus and superion with mixed results and evil bidders on ebay. they better have combiners in TFA or im gonna be mad. argh

Nope sorry. Hasbro's last statement about it was there would be no combiners until they can be done right.

So far no combiners in Animated or Universe and definitely none in TF Movie 2.

So if you want combiners you'll have to wait for them.

However I unlike most people here like the Energon combiners. Yes they aren't without flaws, but overall the design technique was not bad. If only they would have given them real fists and feet instead of Energon claws.

But the main combination concept works and Works well. Its the details that did not come out right.

Totally. I love the Energon combiners. But the energon parts look crappy like as hands and aren't entirely supportive as feet. The main idea works great, but it is the minutia where people find complaints. I still love the energon combiners.

Yeah, I defintely wouldn't start holding your breath for gestalts in TFA or Uni.
But maybe,just maybe, 25th anniversary...
