....hi there, I'am kind of a part time poster here-mainly b/c I'am renovating my house day and night and I don't have a lot of time to post on these boards. But I thought that with the movie coming out and a big resurgence in Gen One interest that maybe some you might want to take a gander here. I have been collecting Transformers since I was 8 years old in 1984. I have almost 2000 figures (and a few cats too!)....

Thats pretty impressive, i dig the clear plastic display shelves.

the one crit i would have, and i say it to most is, "Where are the fight scenes!?"

Every collection needs at least one fight scene, or else... :-x

i wish i had time to set one up! an entire wall of my glass shelves broke and collapsed a while back and it took a LONG time to clean up the broken glass, account for all my fallen warriors, and redo the shelves. Besides, I am renovating my house and as such I don't have alot of time as it is. Thanks for looking though-I just wish I had a better camera to take clearer and nicer pics.

Oh my.

I was just starting to feel confident enough to show off my piddly 142-strong, 5-year collection, only to have my hopes dashed. Guess I got a few more years o' collecting before I have anything worthwhile to brag about. XD

Your collection is simply awesome, dude. And I love your cats.

I don't think it really matters how many figures you have in your collection. I only have 200+. However, I have them scattered across my room so it looks like I have a lot. Plus my room is covered in posters & other fun things...........nice collection!

yeah man-go ahead and post them! don't be ashamed of what you have.I have been collecting for 23 years. Don't feel bad, i've got 18 years on you-in 18 years I'am sure you'll have a few 1000 too! Remember, in 1984 I only had one (Windcharger-I've still got him-sans front driver side wheel)

I hate these threads, they always make me like my collection is tiny. Me and my piddly little 100+ collection feel great shame.

*sigh*

Good showing though Predbot.

The omega supreme in the picture is a pre-transformer made by toybox called Mecha-1 I think. Ironically, its in far better condition than my regular omega supreme. When I won an auction a few years ago for Overlord the seller in the UK mentioned he had Mecha-1 too. He only wanted 80 additional dollars for it so I took him up on the offer. I couldnt believe how clean it was-no dust, tighter than tight joints, electronics work like brand new.

The Bombshell is one of the more well-made knockoffs from the early-mid 80's. Much like on the scale of the Radio Shack Shockwave and some of the dinobot knock-offs, etc...

That makes two of us. I think I went & counted & I have 234 figures, which includes Titaniums, Classics, BW, MP, Alternators, & G1 which outnumbers all of those put together. I have no display space left, so that means I'll have to put some in hiding, which I don't want to do, because I love showing them all off!!
