Voice Changing Helmet???

I need help! I have had this helmet since I was a kid when transformers first came out. Now my son likes to play with it but I don't know if that is a good thing since I don't know if it has any value since I haven't had any luck finding anything else like it. It is a full size wearable helmet with adjustments on the side for volume and voice change or amplification. It also has a light on the front that comes on when you talk into the microphone on the front grill. Inside is stamped 1984 Hasbro Bradley Inc. Can any tell me if this has any value or should I just let my son keep playing with it?

Thanks

Why would Hasbro sell Megaman's helmet?

Hmmmm very interesting... I have never seen that before, it does look like a cross between Megaman and Optimus Prime though!

And also welcome to Seibertron dmodsquad!

Actually, the slats in the side make it look more like Bombshell's helmet than either Prime or Megaman.

Okay, since no one else is answering the question: it is a awesome cool helmet (one that I also own), if he likes it that much, show him the new one that's coming out for the Movie. It looks totally sweet and should get him out of your headpiece. Oh, yeah, I got mine 3 years ago at Cybercon for $20. It is rare from what I can tell but the market isn't there to push the price up. And hey, you can play Prime and son together when the new on comes out!

From what Ive heard and seen its quite rare. let your son play with it as long he isnt one of those kids who like jumping in the mud or have ADHD. As long as hes gentle let himif he's not try not to. I own that Helmet got it for 20 bucks from a friend of mine. Oh and the new voice changer is coming out so as soon as that comes out id say to buy it for your son.

Wow. I had one of those long ago & haven't seen one since. Glad to see my over-active imagination didn't make it up.

I'm in agreement with everybody else: let him keep playing with it until the new one comes out, then put this one on the shelf. Let him forget about it, and in twenty years maybe he can sell both helmets together for a reasonable amount.

Thanks everyone for the replys. My boy will be happy to know that he can keep playin for now, but I will surely look into getting him the new one when it comes out and putting this one back away.
