Hey guys, just got a terrocon g1 blot KO and i dont get it.. i mean, anyone got pics of his back in beast mode, with and without the weapons?
I cant figure out where the head goes, I swing it back but that way it just looks bad and doesn't alow for the weapons to be put on :-?

is this a crappy KO or does blot like to sniff his a$$ ?

Neither helped..

In the intructions (attack monster and set includes pics) it looks like the head/connector piece just isn't there and the toy pic from the front view shows nothing but the space for it in robot mode.

The "swing robot head from behind" works but it has the problems i stated in the 1st post, no hole or room to hide and gets in the way of the gun mount piece.

maybe my KO has some remold or something.. i'll w8 for your pics then DJ :D

thanks

Blot's robot head swings 180 degrees and goes between his robot legs and is hidden when you push the legs and robot torso together to make robot body.

Lemme ask, when you move the head backwards, does it only go 90 degrees or 180 degrees? It should go 180 and be vertical with his head facing behind.

...looks like I was beat to it.

my blot's head rotates 175º (it bangs on a strip of purple plastic that apears to be the piece that forms his robot legs front)

EDIT: i figured that it's the purple plastic strip that composes the front legs piece that really wont allow for the 180º angle.

Two options:
1- that purple stripe either wan't supposed to be there or it should be smaller in dept.
2- the head/connector should have a gap in the place it meets the purple purple strip

:-?

here's the pic of the problem:

You are right! I have had mine mistransformed all the time. Normally I keep them combined as Abominus and never really noticed it before. Also, there is no hollow space betwween the legs for the head to slide into (laughs at last sentence!).

I was thinking that I can cut a notch into the plastic piece, however, without the hollow, there is nowhere for the head to slide into.

If you find an alternative, put in this post, I'll do the same.

Blot is simply a terrible design- he doesn't seem to transform into much of anything and manages to be not particularly articulated or aesthetically pleasing in the process.

I think when they got to his design they were running out of ideas. But yeah it looks like the KO there has some size issues between parts and some extra plastic.

I'm just w8ing for someone to post pics of blot's back in gorilla mode in various perspectives so I can determine what's wrong with this KO, too bad seibertron has no terrorcons in it's gallery :-(

till then, Blot, you are banished from the decepticons :-x

I lost three good men retrieving this figure for these photos. There'll be no backpack though...

Yes there's a small recess in the lighter purple to allow the head to fit between his legs.
