Why is Rumble from Hawaii?

Hey just got my Alternators Rumble, and his license plate says "Hawaii Aloha state" IS everybody's like this? Don't know why, but it just makes me think less of the toy. Other than that, pretty happy with him tho!

They're all that way. Why they went with Hawaii... only some Hasbro Designer knows for certain.

It's an added paint application that adds detail to the figure. What's the problem with it? It could have been just a boring faction symbol or altogether blank.

Nothing wrong with a little character. Just the RIGHT character. I just don't see a bot who's motto on the back of the box is "chaos is the seed of victory" kicking back with a plate of roast pig on a cool tropical evening.

Okay, just opened my ravage and he is SO much cooler than they made him look on the box. They posed him so he looks like a confusing mess of armor plating, but he really looks alot like G1. Awesome!

Call me crazy but I don't see any TF kicking back with a plate of roast pig.

I'd have expected a New York license plate... But I suppose the "Rumble in the Bronx" joke's been done to death by now.

What better way to promote chaos than to confuse you with his state of registry? Plus, wouldn't that sort of add to the disguise factor? You see a car like that drive by and you think, "Hey, was that Rumble? Nah, that was a Hawaii lisence plate. It couldn't have been Rumble."
Or, you could just accept it as a cool little feature that adds to a great toy line and not worry about the whys and wherefores.

Apparently, I thought I had more to say since I clicked "quote" instead of "edit".

I'm in the middle of watching G1 all the way through since I've never seen all the episodes and I got the Chinese tin set. This sounds like an actual part of an episode. Please tell me I'm wrong.

Hmm since this went on longer than I figured, I'll ask this question again.
How often do you see a Hawaii tag in the big 48?
That alone would be enough to draw attention to the vehicle, let alone when it turned into a big, giant robot.

As someone else said, it's an homage to the giant volcanoes that created the islands....You know. When they erupt they cause chaos and a whole lot of shaking and rumbling.

I suppose, but wouldn't California tags do the same thing?
