I am looking to buy a Vintage G1 Swoop and now the market is flooded with KO's. Can anyone enlighten me how to tell the difference? Can you tell just by the box? I heard the KO had the "age and up" wrong. Need help please....I don't want to buy a stupid KO, I only collect Vintage G1!

simple really if you want MISB. the KO lacks the factorylabels on Swoop in package and the stickersheet does not have these added, outside, the legs have protruding pins in the black "knee" section that wedge the legs open in robotmode and the wings do not fold back flush.

Do you have any pictures that shows me the diffrence? If Swoop does have any factory labels on him does this mean that there is no stickers at all applied to him? Some picture will help, thanks for the help so far Black Arachnis. Were on the right track!

I gotta leave for work shortly but I`ll try to upload some comparative images tomorrow.do note I have not stickered my KO Swoop as I want to make him into a Diaclone Swoop.

I have also heard that the screws don't fit properly and his face lacks detail.

the face looks identical to my vintage Swoop and only one screw doesn`t fit right...anyways, working on the photo`s though it`s a bit difficult due to lacking photoshop on my machine.(can`t find my installation discs and I recently got a new machine)
