Odd, but aesthetically appealing.

I am more likely to purchase it as a result of these photographs.

i like mirage.. i dont love him. but i do love that ford gt, and even though thats not diecast, it still look absolutely beautiful. and $80 for that from bbts is well worth it.

i've always wondered why in most pictures like these there is usually something not quite right looking, like his right arm not being spun far enough, or in those silhouette pictures where the legs aren't twisted enough, why can't they just make pose that looks awesome.

Um. I don't think he's going to be sneaking around anywhere though with half his parts still showing up plain as day.

This is cool and all, but I don't think it warrants two news headlines :P

Damn. Looks awseome, but How can I build my G1 collection when they continually release new Transformers? I might like to have him, but It's getting difficult to keep up with all these expensive Transformers.

Ick, Takara is sucking me dry this summer! LOL, I can't keep up with all my pre-orders anymore!

I agree, this baby looks mighty smooth.

Almost as smooth as the soc hitting back to back to back to back homeruns.

Preordered mine when it first listed at BBTS... glad I did.

This may sound petty, but I would have gotten this if it were all clear.

I dunno, all the opaque parts just ruin it for me.

wow, simply wow!! I love the fact that each Tformer possesses individual powers.. like invisibility, holograms, null rays, teleportation..ect.. ect.. that was the neat and cool added feature that has been embossed in the Transformers mythos since its inception, and for some reason along the way the show producers and cartoon and or story wrtiters have forgotten this fact, even in the current comics you don't see so much emphasis on the individual special powers the transfomrers possess..So to me this toy of mirage in clear is simply marvelous!! It harkens back to the G-1 show and is a great and cool way to reissue a tformer.. i love him anbd I shall definately purchase as soon as i save up enough quan to get him..

The black torso throws it off a bit but it does look good. Honestly they should have done this with Classics Mirage and payed as much attention to the clear parts as they did with the clear Optimus Primal from a while back(that guy is freaky looking on a sunny day)

It's nice, but I'm gonna stick with pretending Mirage is invisible by just taking him out of the picture.

I'm still on the fence on this one. I like the GT mold a lot, but I don't know if I want to pay $80 for a clear alternator.

Oh well, as it's already been said, I have until September.

I love the figure, but it's way too much (at least at BBTS)! I mean, $80? You could have MP Skywarp or Megatron for just $20 more!

Pretty cool, but pretty expensive. Wish it was cheaper...

the prices for collectibles toys are getting completely absurd. it's a nice looking piece but $75.00 is just plain greedy.
