I gotta love Classics Jetfire.

Brilliant in all the modes he has (jet, super-jet, gerwalk, bot, super-bot-- any more??), and the attention to detail on him is amazing. The paint apps are brilliant, two heads for one, both looking brilliant, is truly amazing.

The box he comes in shows him off lovely, and only £20!!!


If you see one, pick it up. Treasure it for always.



Although I do agree with you two. I love my Vector Prime, even if his paint apps are less amazing than his Jap version. I would love to get hold of the Takara version sooner or later.

And my Omega Prime is a thing of beauty. Both Prime and Magnus in that line were fab, and their combined mode was excellent too.

I get that way with Starscream. He was the first Transformer I remember owning. Jetfire is right up there to for similar reasons.

Overall, Soundwave was one of my favorites. He was just a really awesome character and a well thougt out design for the time, plus he had tapes that transformed into characters. He was just totally unique even if he was "unchrasmatic".

I also have to agree that RiD Prime is great. He's a huge departure from our classic ideas of what Prime should be, yet such an awesome figure that everyone has nothing but good things to say about him, even with the ocassional tire issue.

My favorite is G1 ScatterShot. I got him from my older cousin along with G1 Ramjet and Hun-Gurr. All of them were incomplete. SS only had a shoulder gun, Ramjet had both wings and landing gear but those are MIA and Hun-Grr came with nothing.

Even though G2 SideSwipe was my first TF figure, ScatterShot remains my favorite with MP Megs in 2nd and 20th anniversary Prime in 3rd

I had two tfs at the same time for my first.

Grimlock and G2 Laser Prime.

Both rocked.
Both gone now sadly


I really don't wanna follow the trend for Classics Jetfire love, but when bits that will never see the light of day due to the transformation have such incredible detail, you know you got something wonderful.

Mine was G1 Ratchet!! *swoon* I would love to get him again

Figure wise, I have to go with a two-way tie b/t G1 Soundwave & Grimlock. I nearly wore them out as a kid, and when I sold out the first time, they were the only two I missed.

As for first TF, it was G1 Ironhide, and he's always been my favorite cartoon character. With the southern accent, and the gruff attitude, I've always thought Ironhide, when not busting decepta-chops, would've been an avid fan of SEC football. He'd have to be a Bama fan, of course...he'd fit right in with the RV fleet.

Black Big Convoy: A Convoy who becomes a big, mean wholly mamoth, excellent robot form and loaded with weaponry.

TM2 Blackarachnia: Just look at her.

Tarantulas: It's simple and good.

Armada Hotshot: Same as with Tarantulas.

Energon Arcee: Classic character with a nice new form.

Allagator Megatron:

Classics Ramjet: Supository head lives!

First TF was a G1 Scorponok, and I stand by that as my favorite. Big and clunky but awesome in bot or alt. I also love Energon Scorpo for strangely non-coincidental reasons, mainly for his unique aesthetic.

Fave from the show was Shockwave. He was so cool and quiet and he wasn't always in the episodes. He was a holy grail for a long time, and when I finally got him, didn't disappoint at all!

Great head sculpt.
Great alt mode.
Great colours (seriously, my favourite of any TF).
Great colour distribution
Great detailing (check the silver tubes on his face!).
Great proportions.
Love the claw arms.
Love the shoulder cannons.
Love the little gun.
Great, classic profile.
Small, cute & affordable.
TOILET MODE!!!
Unique, bizarre, obscure, a great TF to have as a favourite!

Beachcomber. My first TF and I still have him making him also my oldest TF.

Hmm, tough question.

Off the top of my head:

G1 Insecticons - The chest cavities, great colors and theyre freakin insects!
G1 Devastator - The first combiner and the coolest.
G1 Megs I have always though that this was the best alt mode, period.
Classics Seekers - Finally, real coneheads!!

And ofcourse the MP line. Prime and Megs are awesome. Starscream can hold a Megs gun finally. This is just pure love!
