The exclusive Henkei Skywarp has been released in Japan. This Toy Hobby exclusive was available through pre-orders through online retailers. Expect to see it arrive overseas soon.

The paint scheme for this figure is a little different than its Target exclusive counterpart. The fuselage is more G1 accurate (with only the wing tips showing purple and white). The nose cone on the other hand is solid black. The thrusters and rocket launchers are chromed with silver. This figure comes utilizes Henkei Starscream’s boxart but does not include a mini-manga.

(Keep your eyes open for Henkei Thundercracker's release this week).

Skywarp was not a Botcon exclusive, but thanks for the news and photos. I like it better than the Target exclusive but don't think it is worth the price to upgrade.

I have heard nothing from Fan2Fan despite emailing them, my Skywarp from Rinkya is already on the way however!

Can't wait to get him and Thundercrcker. I preordered the set.

I got an e-mail yesterday from the bidding agent I used to order Skywarp saying he'd received the figure so I'm just waiting for him to get Thundercracker and ship them.
With the City Commander set imminent and Henkei Sunstreaker just being released the next few weeks are going to be damn good for new additions to my collection!

I love Japanese packaging. It's a lot less spacious and a lot more compact, unlike our clamshell casings here.

Anyways, Skywarp is looking good. I missed out getting Ultra Magnus and Skywarp combo at Target, so I might pick this up. Then again, it is overseas, and me picking up a Henkei Skywarp is a little bit out of the picture.

Maaaaaaaaan! I was satisfied with my Hasbro Skywarp until I saw Seib's sweet gallery. The purple just looks so much better on the Henkei.

Can anyone tell me, is he as loose as Thundercracker? Is he worth buying if I already have the Hasbro one? Anyone want to sell an opened one for a slightly reduced price?

I got two Skywarps and there were no joint issues whatsoever. One of them had a chip in his leg that someone decided to just paint over rather than discard for QC reasons, but whatever. The other Skywarp I had was absolutely flawless, perfect paint, tight joints, and both look absolutely stunning.

Great to hear. Could be you got lucky, a lot of people seem to have problems with the Thundercracker, but maybe Skywarp doesn't have any problems? I guess if a bunch of people's were as good as yours then I think I want one.

Lol. I grew out of my Viconia phase. I like Aerie's sweetness more these days. It's just how my tastes have changed as I've gotten older.

But it could have been worse... Jaheira is so annoying, more annoying than Viconia because Viconia is just a nasty piece of work sometimes. But Jaheira... makes me want to gauge my ear drums out with a spoon.
