Entertainment Weekly has been given a Transformers Movie Deluxe Barricade action figure for them to write a Story about.

EW.com gives you an exclusive sneak peek at the first action figure from Hasbro?s all-new ''Transformers'' Movie Deluxe Assortment, coming in June. - He also has a twisted take of the familiar police slogan enscribed on his bumper: ''To Punish and Enslave.'' Clearly, not a robot to be tinkered with.

I am going to pick this chap up, I think.

Not really a review, though, is it? It's more of an indication that it exists. A Post-It note on the fridge, if you will.

Does anyone else smell a Movie Prowl repaint of Barricade?

I'm not sure. His robot mode may appear too evil.

That's Frenzy. He becomes Barricade's grille or something.

That wasnt worth the time it took to read. Might as well just have said " There is a movie and there will be toys, here is a picture of one of them".

How long a review of an action figure were you expecting from a newsstand entertainment magazine, anyway?

They could have just said "Here's what the box says about this police car toy we got."

It didn't say much, but I like how it blatently said all this was to make money.

I think with some remolding (the head and hands) he could definitely pass for a Prowl figure.

I'm hoping for a repaint, minus the police light-bar, as Bludgeon.

Make the car a sporty metallic orange, the revealed portions maroon/green, the face bone white, and the little robot that comes out purple and green.

Edit: Prowl could easily be a Bumblebee remold.

I agree, it's not really a review, but since when does EW review toys anyway? I don't think they even took the toy out of its package. The photo looks like a stock photo provided to them from Hasbro.

I think it's pretty neat.

I won't complain.
