Hey guys! Just got my re-issue sixshot in the mail. I never had him as a kid so the nostalgia value isn't there, but he's a fun toy. Wanted to know if you had any opinions on him. Thanks!

Yea, prior to the book style TFC releases.

Him, God Ginrai and maybe a few others, but I can't remember.

Sixshot is easily one of the best G1 Transformers there is. Congrats on your purchase!

I bought him recently and I love him. Congrats on your purchase. He is easily one of the best transformers ever and well deserving of the reissue

My thoughts exactly. Good purchase, man.

I had him as a kid, and would love to have another one.

It makes me wish Hasbro had reissued him as well, then he may have been a bit cheaper

I remember the old commercial for him and manage to dig it up if anyone wants to see it.

The only part I never could figure out was the kids saying I figured out 4 transformations and another saying he figure out 3, and a third saying he figured out 5. The odd thing is my friend got him for his birthday one year and he does come with instructions so it shouldn't have taken a super sleuth to figure it out. No wonder kids my age at that time had trouble finding Waldo and Carmen San Diego.

Thanks Swerve for the commercial, it was great! I hope those kids transforming him didn't grow up to be surgeons.

I haven't looked in a while, but are all the cool toy commercials gone from this site?

Had the good fortune to score a complete mint reissue off of e-bay for a mere $20 last year--I remember being impressed at the sheer size of the thing--much bigger and more interesting than his puny "son," Quickswitch. One cool TF!

Yes, there was. I bought him for less than 5,000 Yen $42-43-ish US, and I was so very unimpressed with him. His alt modes looked like pure, well...not good. Add the fact that he did nothing but STAND or get on his knees in robot mode, and I had enough.

It was Christmas, so I repackaged him and gave him to a little Japanese boy I knew. He loved Sixshot, so it was not a waste.

Sixshot=proof not all G1 toys are awesome! lol

50 posts, and so I begin to climb the ladder to "God of Transformers" lol

Anyone have a Snickers while I am waiting...decades?

I got my japanese re-issue too. Truly a great purchase. And the 7th mode is indeed a blast, WTF is it by the way? Hydrofoil? Anyways, wished they'd also release Grand shot/Great shot.
