The Ganbo Store.com exclusive Thundercracker Henkei has been released in Japan. This figure, though similar to the Botcon exclusive, features a slightly different paint scheme. Just like the Skywarp Henkei exclusive seen last week, this figure is packaged in the Henkei Starscream package. Expect online retailers to receive their shipments soon.

Now the only thing you need to worry about is disgruntled botconners working for the postal service. :-P

Now to wait for Sunstar to tell me "I have your Thundercracker. Pay me X ammount of Canadian dollars or I'm selling him on eBay." :P

Awesome to see TC has now been released as it means my bidding agent should soon get the 2 I asked him to get me and ship them along with Skywarp :D
Come on Takara, give us Henkei Thrust and Dirge so we can complete the set!

:-? If they do release them (which I highly doubt, but if they do), I had better find out about it first so I can unload my Botcon exclusives on eBay for crazy money

At this point I wouldn't be at all surprised.

So within two weeks we should have him...
Is it kinda sad that I'm this excited for a toy???

Someone needs to step up and make Thrust and Dirge exclusives as well...
Why keep these characters/figures from so many people?
Not to mention, the company would probably make a decent amount of money.

NO way.. NO way would Hasbro do this to the TF fan club... Overseas, Takara, yeah, i can buy that (particularly because Hasbro does it to them).. but I would not believe for a second that Hasbro would release any TF club or Botcon exclusive.

EDIT: I suppose it's possible for a re-deco universe Skywarp, though, since Hasbro previously released it in the USA as a Target Exclusive.

The chrome, it burns my eyes!

Honestly, this figure isn't all that spectacular. I can't say I really see the need for people to buy six of the same mold.

Don’t count on it.

Keep in mind though, the previously released Seekers would still be better and exclusive. The exclusive part would be that you’d own the rare decent quality ones that don’t completely fall apart in your hands.

Seriously, counting Henkei as a separate release, that’d be the thirteenth and fourteenth use of that mold. The Classics seeker mold may be just about degraded beyond use here soon.

I think that’s the most repaints any single mold has gotten. We’ll be noticing problems when Universe Starscream comes out.

I don't buy that. How many times have the G1 seekers been issued and reissued and issued once again over the years? From the early Japan releases, Diaclone, to G1-wave1, G1-wave2, G2, E-hobby, Convention exclusives, Takara reissues, Hasbro reissues, and now Encore? We're looking at almost 30 years...

Besides, Sunstorm and "ghost/dead" starscream haven't been released yet :-P

The casts will continue to be retooled just as they've always been. No, I think these "classic" molds have a lot of life in them, still.

 A lot of people sure gonna get pissed getting stuck with an overpriced TC. BTW nekoman, I wouldn't worry about mold degradation, I'm more worried about is the two left leg syndrome that was prevalent in the Henkei Starscream release.

None of the above. I've seen other Henkeis all around. Maybe imported privately. I guess Thundercracker can go the same way?
