According to information retrieved by Red leader, there will be two new Animated two-packs, re-packing four previously released deluxe sized figures in versus themed two-packs.

One of the two-packs, "The Revenge Of Blackarachnia", features deluxe Earth battle-damaged Optimus Prime paired with Blackarachina.

The other two-pack features the previously released Battle Begins two-pack deluxe Megatron now packaged with Prowl, in the "Battle In Space" pack.

Why is the Prowl vs Megatron set called "Battle in Space"? Was there an episode of the show where Prowl fought Megatron in outer space? I can't picture a motorcycle blasting off and flying into space.

well i you watched episode 1 (transform and roll out) you would know that prowl fought meatron and prowl cut off megatron's arm.

I knew that those Prime vs Megs two packs where shelf warmers, but to seperate them and package them with other deluxes to get the sale, that's despiration!!

Might be alright if they had removed those battle scars or whatever from Prime & Megs.

Hm. I didn't get Blackarachnia yet, and I dig that Prime. Remove the effing tribal gang warfare tattoos, and I'll have to pick this set up.

This is real lazy on Hasbro's part, the least they could have done was repaint prime and megs

The BD comes off with alcohol guys, Prime you just gotta repaint a little. I like these sets and will probably buy both sadly

The Black stuff is supposed to be battle damage.

Damnit I've been hoping and hoping that they'd release that Prime individually so I could get the axe, *(don't want to pay $20. for just an axe) and they finally split him apart from Megatron and repackage him with yet another figure. So it's another 2 pack. I already have Blackarachnia and Prowl, this stinks.

I'm certain that prime will eventually be released without the battle damage. That'd be the only time I'd consider buying him.
