many of you guys dislike Starwars TF line,
how about a GIJOE TF line?
I think it would be GREAT!!!

I don't like the Star wars tf cause I don't like the idea of the Star Wars Characters Transforming. I would not like GI joe Tf's for the same reason. I like the Joe's the way they are.

Agreed. IMO SWTFs are just a stupid marketing idea.
If a GIJOE came with a TF as a driver, that would be fine, but a Cobra Commander TF is as dumb as a vader TF.

Well, I myself never was big on Star Wars, but I do like the SW TF's. *watches a glass bottle fly past his head*
Now I never liked GI JOE, and I dunno if I'd be big on it. Not sure unless I actually see it.

It could work only if a Rattler Jet turned into a Decepticon Jet like Thundercracker or the U.S.S. Flagg transformed into a massive Tidal Wave style bot.
I don't like the fact that Han and Chewie look ridiculous and combine together to make the Millenium Falcon with the SWTF they have now. I definitely don't want to see some kind of Destro bot that transforms into a Hiss tank. Actually, I'd rather see a GI Joe vs Transformers toy line. The comics were done pretty well and I would consider buying that line.

That looks terrible. But I will agree that if Megatron transformed into a HISS or Skywarp into that SR-71 style Cobra jet then that might have potential. SWTFs were a good idea albeit a misguided application.

you know, I don't get it, why don't people like
the SW TF?
my reasons, in robot mode, many times they look horrible,
esp. the humans.
Vader & Fett seem fine.
over all reason I don't go for them
because they are not mini-con compatible.
I would love to see a little R-2 mini-con!!!!!

Becuase every single one is a really bad design, designed by the people who normally do Star Wars action figures, NOT the peoplewho normally design transformers.
Becuase a lot of them are made out of poor materials (especilly General Grevis).
Because transformers is about sentient beings, and these are some kind of weird ass transforming mecha that transform into the (generally rather poor) likeness of their pilot. Having them transform into actual transformers charecters would have been rather more beleiveable, and I think would have made for a decent comic series very much like tf vs gijoe.
So in short, we dont like them cuase they are shite in concept, design and exocution.

I have 3 SWTF. None of them are displayed in bot mode and I don't think of them as Transformers. I just always wanted an X-Wing (bought the SWTF before the 30th TRU exclusive X-Wing came out). Same deal with the Advanced Tie Fighter.
I bought the Millenium Falcon after it went on clearance and it looks pretty good in alt mode.

I still have a few Star Wars Action Fleet from the 90s, and as they're pretty similer in size to the SWTFs alt modes (they ake the same sized pilots) there isnt much point having most of my SWTFs in alt mode. \instead they are stood behind the Action Fleet ships, out of sight and (hopefully) outof mind.
(Exactly why I had to buy 5 of those things before swearing off them I do not know...
And I have a horrible feeling i'll buy the snowspeeder one no matter how aweful it is... (Snowspeeders were always one of my fave Star Wars ships.))
