Are Gobots part of your Transformers universe?

Okay, I know Gobots (the 1980's Bandai's toys not the G2 Transformers) are by no means part of the official Transformers history, but many of us played with them as a kid right alongside our Transformers.
Do any of you still collect Gobots and do you display them alongside your current Transformers collection?
I had some a few years ago that I've since sold off but I did recently buy Fracture (the tribute to Crasher) and she definitely has a special place in my collection.

Kinda. I do collect them. I recently purchased thru Ebay Supreme Leader-1, Cykill and Psycho(?). There's a few other's I'd like to get.
They are apart of my continuum in that Gobotron was a providence on Cybertron that was destroyed early on in the Great War. The Gobots were pretty much wiped out.

Hmm...never really cared for Gobots personally. I remember thinking that someone ripped off Transformers when I was a kid. My aunt got me Leader-1 for Xmas and I felt offended lol

I had a few growing up, but that was mainly because I would beg my mom to buy me anything that transformed as a kid. So, in my old toy bin I have a lot of random crap XD
I'm starting to embrace the line as part of my continuity, though. I have Fracture, Bug Bite, and the E-Hobby Gobots proudly displayed on my shelves, though I see them as sort of "side-story characters". In my storyline they play a decent sized role, but in terms of the franchise they'll always just be as obscure a character reference as Crankcase or Skyhammer. All the same, I'm happy to pick up any Gobots that get made :3

To me, they're no more a Transformer than the SWTF or Marvel Crossovers are. They're mainstream toys that transform, which puts them one step below Transformers.
So we have:
Transformers >> Mainstream Toys That Transform >> Ugly Mainstream Toys That Transform >> Third Party Toys That Transform >> Knockoffs.

I had a few Go-Bots before Transformers came out. But once Transformers toys were abundant, I was completely turned off by Go-Bots, also the Go-Bots tv show killed it for me.
But now, I have a different appreciation for them -
They are made of die-cast and offer pretty good detail. I also like how IDW has tried to blend a few Go-Bot characters into the Transformers Universe, usually taking on lacky roles (ie- Megatron bashing the crap out of Cykill in the gladiator pit.
I don't mind displaying them next to my figures with the idea that they are minicons.

I had a few when I was a kid, they were allright. They were kind of considered the poor kids transformers at the time. It'd be kind of neat to see a Leader-1 or CyKill today to see if they're the same way that I remember.

I'll be incorporating them into my TF universe. Still working on the details, but I can see more Gobots coming in the future. Just have Crasher (Fracture) and Bugbite for now. I think they can definitely be used. I'm using them as a separate species from the Transformers as well. I'm keeping the idea that they have organic brains still/being cyborgs. But I'm taking away the fact that they were once human. They'll be another organic species that have since modified themselves. I'm really hoping that we get a Bad Boy from Universe PowerGlide. I think the grey and blue would look great on that figure.

I keep them in, and have about 10 of them.
I just picture them as distant cousins of the TF's that have become refugees on Cybertron and been pulled into the Autobot ranks, as I don't currently have any Renegades.
I put Res-Q to work along side Fixit and First Aid.
They are about mini-bot or large mini-con size, so it works well.

Oh my goodness. I feel offended even answering this question. Silly Gobots.

Honestly, some of the Gobots display pretty nicely next to G1 minibots and the Super Gobots even display nicely with some of the larger stuff.
Then again, some of them are flat out ugly, with super tacky names that could have been created by kids even younger than the ones playing with them.
