Impossible Toys Info Update

Last week, we saw several leaked figures from Impossible Toys here but with little details. I followed up with Impossible Toys and their spokesman, William, had this to say:

Now some of these toys are not yet 100% confirmed as it all depends on how sales are on the seven new products that will be released before the end of the year. As sales have not been as strong as we expected with the previous products we released, and as a result we have discontinued them. The discontinued products are:

Quint-01, Quint-02, Quint-03, Quint-04
Kremzeak, Enargon cubes, Spike & Sparkplug

The new products set for release are:

TFA-01
TFA-02
TFA-03
Transforming Exo-suit Spike
Transforming Exo-suit Daniel
Nightbird
Quint-05

So if these do well then we will continue to release TF related toys as this is why we started doing what we do. But if not - we will consider developing toys to fit in with other toy lines that are not TF related. We want to thank everyone who supports what we are trying to do for the fans but if the demand is not there then sadly we can no longer justify doing so. So since the fans would like information on the leaked products we are more then happy to share. Details

A3, Kranix, and Arbulus

These figures are scaled to be around the size of our Quint series toys (as this scale works best to fit with the G1 series toys). The figures have multiple points of articulation to allow for excellent movement. The current picture samples are just prototypes to give us a feel of how we want the toys to look and they are also painted by hand to give an idea of what colors to go with. So if the final product is released the production colors will be more vibrant.
**A3 would be released in two styles and one would be limited.

Guardian

The figure would be released in two styles. It is around one foot tall and has electronic functions and a claw hand that can function as well. Again this scale works best to fit with G1 series toys since he should be a very large based off the series. The figure has multiple points of articulation to allow for excellent movement. The current picture sample is just a prototype to give us a feel of how we want the toy to look and it is also painted by hand to give a idea of what colors to go with, So if the final product is released the production colors will be more vibrant.

TFA-01 TFA-02 TFA-03

These figure are scaled so they can display well with deluxe and voyager TFA toys. As in the show- there is no real consistent size so we had to find the best suitable scale. The figure has multiple points of articulation to allow for excellent movement. The current picture samples are just prototypes. So if the final product is released the production colors will also be more vibrant.

Thanks for the support and we hope the provided information helps answer questions. Also as a side note we encourage all fans to visit our forum, email us, or even post on your forum for feedback, as we do listen.

Remember - if you are interested in these figures, notify your favorite online retailer and tell them to stock these.

Hope the paint jobs themselves are better on the production line. These aren't so hot.

I glad to see this stuff being made, even though it should be by Hastaktomy not by a 3rd party.

Good luck to them.

Quint 1-4 just become serious collector's items now that they are discontinued.

They state that the paint work on these is prototype, the real paint will be in line with the Quints which had great paint apps.

I would buy them all except for Guardian and A3 which I dont understand at all. Collector's can already seek out official TRANSFORMING versions of these two. I have to figure those will sell poorly.

Indeed. The bad economy is probably affecting Transformers sales at the moment. I've noticed that a lot of prices on eBay have come down.

Regarding the figures - I am excited about Arbulus and Kranix. We have never had these characters before. They played a pretty good role in the movie and then in the TV series that came the following year.

Sorry but I call bullshit.

I OWN that Arblus and Kranix. They are made by an Australian artist who has posted here before, and he only made something like 5 of each.

How is someone else's work a prototype? I am going to contact the artist who made these and will follow up.

Here is a link to the artists album:

They do look similar, but they may still be legit. They also have similar Quints. But I imagine the figures will look similar since they don't transform and are based on the same image.

You're probably right. I might have been a bit hasty as I was very surprised to see my very pricey customs about to go mainstream. Damn Botcon shenanigans has me gun-shy!

I sent the artist an email to see if there is any link between the figures. Looking forward to seeing his answer.

I would feel the exact same way as you if they were bootlegs. And they do look similar with the first look.
