Revoltech-style Gestalts?

Does anyone else think this would just be awesome? They'd have to be something like Leader class, maybe slightly bigger than average Leader class, which would almost put them in proper scale to deluxes. As a rule I've always been against nontransforming Transformers, but the sweetness of the Revoltech Screamer and Rodimus showed me it could be done well. And while the G1 gestalts are amazing toys, a fully articulated, single figure that could move like they did on the shows would just be overwhelmingly cool for me. It'd only be like a line of 8 if the stuck to g1- Superion, Defensor, Computron, Devastator, Bruticus, Menasor, Abominus, and Piranacon. Predaking might be big enough in G1 already, hehe, but he'd probably have to be an Ultra to make him as imposing as he ought to be.
What does everyone else think?

I'm with ya, ChronosWar.

I'm not big on non-transforming Transformers (especially those Robot Replica ones from the Bay-verse), but the Revoltech line seems to be the exception to the rule.
The idea of Revoltech Devastator sounds rather awesome. :-?

Unfortunately, a Revoltech figure that size would probably cost a bit much, so Hasbro & Company would probably need convincing that such a figure is worth their time.
I'd suspect that if ROTF contains combiners (as we keep hearing), the toymakers that be might be more apt to believe that they could sell gestalt merch.

Just a thought...

I will admit, I have never once thought about that.

But yet, you are right. They would be epic. I would love to see a Revoltech Devastator or Predaking.

Can't say it appeals, really. I just don't like the idea of spending the sort of money a Leader-sized Revoltech would cost on a non transforming figure.

Now, a Revoltech Megs, cartoon accurate and Masterpiece Prime-sized... =P~

I do like the gestalt idea, but like Sledge says, a figure that size that doesn't transform would be slightly anti-climatic. But I think they'd look awesome, and I'd try to pick one up for sure. The revoltech MP ideas....that's awesome for sure.

I guess I didn't read it right. I wouldn't want a huge revoltech, just the normal size. That's the right size scale for anything IMO.
