This almost looks like the stuff that you can find in the party supplies aisle of any local Super-store ie: Walmart, K-mart... blah blah.
But for some strange reason, I can see these on their own special endcap.

I am a completest and will be getting all of the FAB and regular movie toy line...but things like this IMHO are meant for the younger crowd and have no place/room in my collection.

Come now. You don't want a little bumblebee jingling around in your Jeep?

There's some interesting stuff here, but I don't know if I'll get any of it. Well, maybe a few of them for kicks.

I can already see this stuff in my head in the 'specially marked down toys!' bin at my local TRU.
This is junk that kids will get real tired of fast!

I think I'm going to be saving some money too, this summer. There's a few voyager-class I'll be grabbing, and maybe a couple deluxe outside of the protoforms I've already ordered. Beyond that, however......Not so much. I'm really looking forward to this movie though. Gonna make a point of at least trying to see it in the theater.

"Ooh, it says here it makes 'exciting battle sounds and lights'."
"What does it sound like?"
"I don't know."
"Never mind then."
I work in a toy shop. I have heard this conversation and variations thereof many times. Try Me buttons are a GOOD THING. It means they have to provide batteries with the toy for a start. Usually cheap batteries that don't last very long, so they do tend to run out quickly. If there was no Try Me, batteries would not be included unless they were the button-cell ones. There really is no downside, unless like me you work in a toy aisle and have to listen to kids trying out the machine guns all day.

If I were green I would look like the Grinch. Or Lord Zarak.

I wonder if these toys will do as well as the main TF's in the movie line.
