Should Fans Project make Pharohtron their next project?

I just got my City Commander and loved the comic. There was'nt a whole lot of story, but that does'nt matter seeing how it was an instruction manual. The art was what won me over. I'm bringing this up because I really like Pharohtron and I would love to have a figure of him.
Who else thinks they should make him?

If it were even half as good as City Commander I would buy it.

I'd have to wait till tomorrow to read my instructions when they get here, to see if I would want it or not.

Yesterday, I'd have had to say the same thing. Today, glorious today, I can say that yeah, Pharohtron would be a superb idea. Is it my imagination, or does he kinda look like that Universe Bruticus that's just getting released?
Oh, and I know this has probably been beaten into the ground, but good god, I am so happy with the city commander set. I can scarcely take my eyes off of it to navigate the forum. I'm glad they fixed that joint on the chest plate for SC, since I'm assuming mine's not the only one that's loose

Just got mine, too, W00T!
But... no. From what I could see he's basically a beastformer who uses the same head in both modes. He didn't impress me at all.

Hehe, w00t indeed. Glad you got yours. I hadn't thought of the head aspect, but since I'm kind of an Egypt buff thanks to my mom, the whole instruction book world was awesome to me (Ra-mus was a nifty touch). So an evil sphinx would be sweet, even if the alt head is so similar to the robot form head. I don't think they're exactly the same (the alt looks older and more sphinx-ish) but I can definitely understand your reluctance. also, of course, he has no wings, which hurts the sphinx thing, but still...hehe

The comic was an interesting read...but also a bit disappointing. I was expecting something more of an origin to the armor or something that would coincide with the classics universe. Instead I get Optimus Prime going 'ultra mode!' on (pfft...) Pharohtron. Also, not sure if anyone else felt this way, but the 'instructions' felt like I was reading the transformation sequence for Voltron. (ROTATE THE LEFT PEG DOWN!)
Guess I would have to see what Fans Project would come up with should they make an actual Pharohtron, but as of now I can't say I'm really behind the concept. I'd be more interested in that cute concubine in the comic...but it'd prolly be dubbed 'Cleopatron' or something lame like that.
Sorry for any offense taken, but it just wasn't my cup of tea.

we didnt see a great deal of the concubine, but yeah i'd be more interested in that than pharohtron!

The fembot's name is Havoc. Do to the shortness of the comic, there was no place to show her name. And she wasn't a concubine.

Shes suppose to be the Queen.
As for Pharaohtron, thats more of a title, then actual name. Like King, Emperor, ect. The sphinx mode's face is the back of his upper body in robot mode. Theres also a third mode not shown in the comic. As for a toy for Pharaohtron, probably won't happen. Shadow Commander's comic won't continue the story from the City Commander comic. The character would need more exposure for an actual toy. However, that doesn't rule out some other group making a Pharaohtron toy or continuing the story.

Check out the link in my signature for the unused Mirage and Shockwave concept designs for the comic.

That's a bummer. What's Pharaohtron's real name?
I my opinion I think the designs like Pharaotron and Havoc would be a great project for Fans Project to take on. They could get away from just doing accessory additions and actually market and sell creations that exist outside the TF franchise. There's a lot of potential here and I'd love to see it used. The City Commander set I got has won me over on Fans Project products and I never buy anything that's not Hasbro or Takara owned, but they have convinced me to do otherwise. I think I like the Fans Project creation because they're not like the stuff that comes from the guys who made Kremzeek and the Quintessons. Those seemed rushed, but City Commander looks as though many months of care went into his design.
They should seriously consider making them. I know I'd buy them.

The working name for Pharaotron's real name was Ter-ron. And later, he would combine with his own armor to become Terrortron(something like the Galvatron of this universe). I know the designer for City Commander thought a figure of Pharaohtron would be cool. But the direction their headed at the moment, I don't see them returning to this story at all. The original plan was to have an ongoing story featuring these characters, which would be available for view online for free. But plans changed while I was working out the character bios and main story.

Can you request that they reconsider this story? It would be fun to see what they do.
Since you made Pharaotron or Ter-ron can you send me some better pics of him? It's kinda hard to see all the angles in the comic and I did'nt see him on your Deviant Art page. I've been in need of a reason to pull out my hobby supplies again and this seems like the perfect project to start with. If I can get it to be durable enough I may even look into getting it produced.

The only re-design I have from them is a rough concept missing some detailing, from the one in the comic. I'll have to ask them for permission, to see if I can post it online.
