Boy, did I ever have to wait for these guys! It was worth it though, the OTFCC did an amazing job with this set - the retro box is beautiful, and the whole thing looks like a real collector's item. Huge thanks goes out to the boys at Hasbro and the Club for refusing to let these great toys die, and a big thanks to my friend Tigertracks 24 for hooking me up with a set before they all got snatched up!

So, the Universe Seacons saga finally comes to a close; they took four years to get here, but they're finally, finally mine!

I can't wait for mine either. They should arrive today, as the tracking info says they are on the local Home Delivery Truck.

Anywho, I too can't wait for this set. I just rejoined just so I won't miss out. After this, I'll have all the G1 combiners I want really.

I had mine shipped through Fedex Home Delivery (it was $1 more than the cheapest, USPS option). Tracking is standard on all Fedex packages.

Wow, I had really drug my feet on ordering these puppies (or fishies) and had missed out but seeing these pics has convinced me to use some of my extensive Digital Toys credit and snagging me a set.

I've heard this set has some quality control issues. Walky mentioned them several times on his Shortpacked blog/site, and I take his word at face value. (he's one of those people who has no reason to lie. He's brutally honest.)

Since I don't own the set, I can't say for sure. I will say, that after that price, and all that time, I'd be pretty p.o.ed, no matter how pretty the set is. (and it's gorgeous.)

No QC problems with mine. Joints are nice and tight, paints apps are perfect, no complaints.

Some people have had mis-aligned paint apps on Snaptrap's turtle head, but luckily mine doesn't have that (or any) problem.

Mine have no QC issues that I can see, but admittedly even two weeks after recieving them I still haven't had the time to set them up in gestalt form.
