Hasbro Toy Shop has just sent us notification of its newest promotion for the online shop.

All orders that are $75.00 USD or more will receive free shipping to any address within the 48 continuous states.

As an added bonus, I tested the discount code previously reported here and it worked!

So go ahead an rack up some goodies for the Holiday season, and don't forget to support the Toys For Tots Charity as well.

Happy Shopping.

I like the offer they had for free shipping and 20% off with no minimum the had last month. I tried that promotion just to see if it worked, and I got a clearance Real Gear toy, High Score 100, for only just over $3! That was a deal.

If I wanted to buy big Transformers, I'd just buy them at the store and use a McDonalds Happy Meal $5 off coupon.

The "Free Shipping on Most Orders" banner on HTS is not click-able despite the "see details" link posted on it. That is quite aggravating. It seems that it's not a "$75 or more" promo, it's a "free shipping for every block of $75 you spend." For example, if I spend $85, I'm charged shipping for $10 worth of merchandise. If I spend $150, the shipping is free again.

The free shipping over $75 is automatic. No coupon required. Then add on the code MDCREW and it'll take an additional 20% off your order. I've already tested it successfully on a few figures. 25th Anniversary Prime for $56 is much more reasonable. :)

Don't know why you are being charged anything for shipping. Are you sure it's not sales tax?

Well the banner on the main page is working for me now, so that answers that.

As for the shipping charge, sales tax and shipping are listed separately on the website and not together, so there really is no way for me to confuse the two. I even made sure the items I placed in my cart were listed as "in stock" items. I think I'm just going to have to give Hasbro a call and figure out what the problem is.

Thanks anyhow man :)

Hmm, I've done some experimenting. (guess I have a lot of free time) If you add too much heavy stuff, it eventually adds on shipping. For example: 25th Optimus + UNIVERSE Deluxe Class 4-Pack: Special Edition is free shipping. But add on Scrabble Signature Edition and shipping jumps to $14.
If you only have Scrabble by itself, you get free shipping plus 20% off with coupon.

I don't know what the magic rule is on shipping or total cost, but you may just have to work it out...

OR (but I seriously doubt)

Could it be some of your items don't qualify? This is what the faq says:

What are the exclusions associated with Free Shipping offers?
HasbroToyShop.com does exclude a limited number of items from Free Shipping offers. Excluded items include, but are not limited to, overweight/bulky items such as FURREAL FRIENDS BUTTERSCOTCH Pony, PLAYSKOOL ROSE PETAL COTTAGE Cottage; HasbroToyShop.com exclusives; continuity programs such as the EASY-BAKE Sweet Delivery Club; and fundraising kits

Man Vegitron, you're one nice guy! I will keep see if I can change the combination of items in my cart go get free shipping. I can tell you that I only have in-stock Transformers in it and at one point, I did see free shipping displayed, but I can't figure out what I removed. Thanks for your help man, I'll keep trying.

I tried combining the free shipping for $75 or more with the 20% off from the MDCREW code and they do work together, but you have to purchase enough toys so that it's over $75 after the 20% is taken off. So if you plan to puthase $93.75 worth of toys it will only cost $75.
