So the other day I splurged big-time and got a complete Devastator gift set from a reputable seller. I was quite happy with the quality of the individual toys, most of the joints were surprisingly tight for a 23 year old toy, and the chrome wear wasn't too fugly.

I was frustrated combining them into Devastator, though. Everything links together fine and tight, except for this one part. I have a feeling it's a common problem, so people who own it know what I'm referring to. It's the bottom wing, the 'pelvis', which is supposed to slide between Long Haul's wheels and the payload of the dump truck. Mine neither goes in all the way nor conects with a telltale 'click'. Consequently, any attempts to stand Devastator result in his upper torso falling off the bad connection.

Is this a common problem? And if so, what's the usual solution? Any help is welcomed, the Constructicons sure look pretty sitting in the box, but I really want my Autobot collection to PREPARE FOR EXTERMINATION.
