BigBadToyStore.com has updated their listing for the FansProject Shadow Commander Trailer set with a new photo. It appears that there will be and remold of the head with a faceplate. See the listing here:

Glad to see they changed the face if the eyes are red it will look even better.

I'm glad FansProject did the remold for the faceplate. To be honest I really didn't expect it.

I wonderif the head is now going to be black, or still that dark steel blue?

I hope they also fix the weak neck ball joint.

Wow, those fans project guys are awesome. Most of us would have been happy with just a simple repaint, but they really listened to the fans and remolded the head. I'm very impressed and glad I talked my girlfriend into pre ordering this for me for Christmas.

I hope the eyes are going to be painted red though.

The new face might be swappable with the regular mouth face, so that you have an option for which face you want to display your Shadow Commander with. I'll try to confirm if this is still the case or not.

Sweet. Now he looks like a Nemesis Prime. I hope they change his "antennas" so they look more Prime too.

this guy looks awesome, and i wa sskeptical about preordering him when i did but now im glad. i agree that the red eyes addition would make it even better, but its pure win as it is right now!

So who thinks it'll be long before we see a Powermaster Prime version?

I dunno, everything looks nice, but the face still looks kinda too "heroic" for Nemesis.

Interesting that they've gone for an Animated feel with that big smile and bigger chin.

So, are the eyes going to be red or not?

Something spectacular I won't be getting, simply cause SDCC was an exclusive, and then this is pretty expensive in it's own right.

Way to narrow the fanbase, FansProjects.....

They're already making one for Optimus, but it'll be in the Diaclone Powered Convoy colors.

Not sure I agree. Last time I checked, NP was still available on HTS.com. There are probably going to wind up being 100 NPs out there to every SC set. The fact that they're producing half as many tells me they're taking that into account.

The sword is nice but I'll just stick with my City Commander.
