I don't understand why Hasbro didn't just use the traditional Leo Prime color scheme, they did release a legend class a while back using those colors and it looked much better.

These look much nicer than the pictures we got like two weeks ago. Even that Overload looks nice here.

At first I did not like Leo Prime's coloring either yet it has grown on me. I like it pretty well. However, animated UM's coloring is way off! It is nothing like they have advertised. There is no white at all. I hope they fix that.

I like Leo a lot. Cool colors and it'd fit in against my Nemesis Breaker. But Overload, sheesh... how many repaints do we need of CD Scattorshot?

Personally, I'd say more. This is only the second one not counting the original, and it is a very excellent figure.

I'd normally agree with you, but it feels like they're shooting out once a month anymore... Maybe give us a break between repainting him?

Granted, but this is only the second repaint. That's much less of an affront than like, Classics Prowl/Bluestreak/Smokescreen, a new mold with three releases in a year, right? I get what you're saying, and I think this CD Scattorshot really is a love or hate mold, but you know, all things considered, two in a few months really isn't that bad. Compared to general release/same line repaints, where you get Hot Shot and Excellion in a matter of a few months in the Cybertron days.

I love repaints, so please don't mistake this as repaint-bashing.

I don't mind repaints myself...and I actually like the CD Scattershot mold. This just feels like overkill to me since the toy is from a completely different (and past) line being repainted into filler characters that (in this very thread, no less), people are just using to rename into something else anyway. At least with same line repaints you might get a new character that's explained in the universe of that line, or, in the case of the new Universe molds, homage repaints (Prowl-->Silverstreak-->Smokescreen) that make sense.

Again, I'm a fan of everything you are...I just don't want to see CD Scattershot rammed down people's throats until he's the next RID car brother...

Walmart.com- According to member Downshift7, Walmart.com has images of Universe Voyager Leo Prime, and Universe Voyager Overload.

Leo Prime, a repaint of Cybertron Leobreaker, sports a color scheme inspired by Transformers leader Optimus Prime, and similar to Beast Wars Lio Convoy.

Overload is a repaint of the Cybetron Defense Team Scattershot, the mold which was also recently repainted as Universe Dropshot.

Overload's an easy pass for me, but Leo Prime looks decent. I might have to pick him up.

Spider-Man, er, I mean Leo Prime will be MINE! (Someone else's line, not mine, but funny)

I thought Hasbro said there were too many tanks in the line, but now we're getting the same mold we got just 2 waves ago? And where I live the first one is a shelfwarmer, and it's a badass mold. Why couldn't they give us Armada Overload? It's highly sought after. I dunno. He's a cool mold but I'd rather have it as Decepticon so pass.

I'll pick up overload. Pass on Leo Prime; colors look good, I like the head remold, but this mold is mediocre at best, IMO.

2 perfect examples of how colors have ruined what could have otherwise been great figures. Leo Prime needs to be colored like his Legends counterpart. And Overload looks great, except the yellow totally ruins him. Imagine if the yellow was black or grey. Now that's a kickass figure.

Or why not orange? Then he'd be Roadbuster. I know there's already the 2-pack Roadbuster. :-? Maybe he was intended to be Roadbuster, but then Target wanted some exclusives and they ended up using Roadbuster and Dirge with the idea of doing comic 2 packs. But if they used the Scattorshot mold, Dirge would have had to use a deluxe mold. And what other deluxe mold could he use besides Ramjets. But then he'd be a rip off of BotCon Dirge and we couldn't have that. So slight color change and name change and Roadbuster becomes Overload. That's my theory.

Leo Prime seems... turgid in those photos.

Never mind, they both look good.

Bah, more repaints for molds from other lines. Pass on both.

They should've used CD Red Alert for Overload and not use the yellow.
