HK-TF.com has posted some new images of the alleged Movie Soundwave figure from the Revenge of the Fallen toy line. The pictures looked to be darkened out, not showing all the details of the figure, so I've taken the liberty of lightening them up a little bit without trying to compromise the integrity of the original pictures.




From the looks of the images, this appears to be his Cybertronian mode, reminiscent of Transformers Cybertron Vector Prime:



Could this mean we will see three Movie Soundwave figures? Cybertron mode, Satellite mode and an Earth mode? Stay tuned to Seibertron.com to find out.

Interesting., The Plane mode actually looks pretty cool. While very alien, it definitely looks like a jet of some kind, unlike Megatron's Cybertronian Jet mode.

Legs look a little stubby though.

Could this be a modded version of Cybertron Vector Prime?
Just wondering...

If not, I'm liking this character/figure more than I did before.
These pics are far more favorable than that last round of blurriness.

i understand someone used to make the first picture brighter thats i cant see his face except for teh original.

he loks great if he looks like this in film hes going to lok just like soundwave but strange thing is his torso looks like he has a face on his chest.

i would like to see more cybertronian figure pop up it was intersting to see megatron, starscream & prime cybrtonian modes as figures, its shame we didnt get more.

Lol in jet mode his head just looks up into the sky pretending to be a tail fin!

And no this is defiantly not a modified Vector Prime.

We've heard about more of the first 13 coming up and in the comics and such plus apparently the Fallen is not in it (but there's still a very slim chance he is)... Wait... You don't think this could actually be Movie Vector Prime, do you? That figure really does resemble the Cybertron toy of him... Man, I hope he is. It's definitely looking very cool but I think it'd suit Vector Prime more than Soundwave, plus it'd make more sense.

That jet mode looks very cool, and the robot mode's not bad ether. Not very Soundwavy, but then again, change in this franchise is so common, I've gotten used to seeing new incarnations.

Although the idea of Vector Prime isn't one to rule out at this stage. (If he's in the film, I hope they get Richard Newman to play this incarnation of the character, IF it is Vector Prime).

Ugh. The news here has me really down today.

A black Space Ghost.
Spandex-wearing Marvel heroes as Transformers.
And an Optimoose.

All we need now is an update on the Mickey Mouse transformer and I'll be slitting my wrists.

Not crazy about it. Alt mode doesn't look like it locks together. It just looks like an assemblage of parts loosely positioned to make a ship-like form.

I hate that.

Bot mode isn't so bad, but is a bit kibbly. On the plus side, at least it doesn't have chicken legs.

ok its soundwave without a doubt all the pics are of the same figure to bad we cant see the head to concretly confirm it...as for the ass end of the ship mode thats not his head hanging off the back like a tail fin im guessing his bot mode features are on the bottom of the ship like majority of the TF movie fig's judging by the huge center blue orb on the top of the ship and the one on his chest is much smaller...lets just pray the head is right for him, damn pink light..they sure like making this hard for us...hopefully soundwave is why they brought welker into the movie..then again i havent herd anything about hugo so maybe welker is doing a damaged megatrons voice...who knows...closer the movie gets the more excited i get..but same as the first movie i will buy all of the TF 2 movie figures minus repaints...i boycot the repaints...

Wow...I like it! I really like it! I wonder if the paint aps are not done yet...I expect more color in the final product unless it's like the Prime/ Starscream protoform early releases.

With all this talk of him being a satellite too, wonder if this figure's a triple changer-i.e. Energon Shockblast.

has anyone noticed the autobot symbol under the gun turret in the third picture?

Looks pretty cool. Although the alt mode reminds me more of a space jet than a satellite. At least we got a good view of the robot mode, aside from the unnecessary pink light on his face.

that third picture isnt Movie Soundwave.. its Cybertron Vector Prime.. the pictures there as a comparrison between both of their alt modes.

1. looks quite slim in jet mode and we see that soundwave will definately have those blue circle type things

2.i like vector prime BUT vector prime is not a movie type of character in my opinion,in response to an earlier post.

3.will the satelliete mode BE his earth mode ...seems more likely but i'm only saying that because of no confirmation about the pickup or whatever his alt mode was rumoured

Agh... I dunno what to think about it. Would it kill someone to take a clear photo of this toy, especially the head?

I don't like anything that points towards that pickup truck concept being legit - it's such a bad idea that it could be one of those deal-breaker decisions that keeps me from really loving the movie (y'know, like putting a mouth on Optimus Prime)

I hope it will be a leader class and a quadruple changer that would be sweet. I do hope they do something about the legs though, they are waaaaay too skinny.

It looks like a decent figure but its not Soundwave. Looks like ill be renaming yet another figure. Thanks Bay.

ok i'm pretty sure its SW i saw a better pic of him http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_G96gxvrHqrE/S ... veToy1.jpg you can see the head much better in this pic the glare off of the visor in this sites pic covers most of the head making it unclear but the pic on the link definatley shows its SW the head is remarkably true to G1 with the movie twist i think i like it
