Today at a local toy store I found the Transformers Movie Optimus Prime Big Rig Arm Blaster! The store had it marked at $49.99 and there were two left on the shelf. I took some photos for you all to see, so be on the look out!

Ouch... a bit pricey. Bit of a shame too, seeing as it does look kinda neat.

50 for a dart gun, albeit a transforming one, is too much. I'll stick to my Nerf Maverick.

Looks like AAFES BX set up to me o.0
Even still, I wonder if the pricing was wrong, I really can't see it being $50, even if it does transform.

That price has to be an error...I seem to remember Hasbro putting the price point for this at 19.99 or thereabouts...

$40 even seems too much. Are we talking US currency here?

No, the price is just the store. They sell everything at twice the price...which is why I didn't buy it. Put it this way, Cybertron giant Starscream was $89.99 there. It's just a local toy store here in NY, not a chain.

Read up a few posts, dude- RRP is $29.99.
Or £29.99 ($60) in the UK. Grr.

I was going to say...$50 for THAT? Yeesh. Even actual MSRP is too high.

Yes, "Be on the Look Out", that's what he said. He's posting the sighting of a new TF toy on a TF fan site, where a lot of collectors of all things TF hang out.

We got a place just like that here in Madison that was charging about $80.00 for Primus Figures.
Some unknowing parents must have bought them, because they are gone now, but they should have gone to the local Toys R Us as they have about 20 of them, for only $50.
I still feel the local place (happens to be in the mall) will be closing soon as their selection sucks, and so do their prices.

I like how everyone fails to read that this was at small toy shop that charges way over MSRP.

now I prefer to only get transformers off hasbro or if I have no choice, toywiz.com, they really over price, cybertron leader prime is or was (if sold out) $100.00, they just make up a price that seems fair by how cool and fun the toy is, and don't get me started on the ridiculous card game, you gay ho, wait it yu-gi-oh!,you gay ho sound alot better though

I'd guess either K-Mart or KB Toys, because both are known to over price their toys.

Yeah, that is alot of money, but still, that thing is cool!
Still, I wonder how much Target or TRU will sell it for?
