We have known for some time that the club was going to use the Energon Barricade mold with some form of red, white, and blue colors to match the other members of this exclusive group.

"Here is HEATWAVE - the Transformers Collectors' Club FREE Membership Figure for 2009! This is the FIFTH and FINAL figure in the five figure Club Combiner series. Featuring an ALL NEW Gestalt head mold, this figure will be sent to any Transformers Club member who's membership is active by March 16, 2009. Members can expect to receive this figure in late spring/early summer."

Yay!!! Finally the Gestalt will be complete!

This looks awesome. I can't wait to see there combined form. I'm glad they didn't make him out of all translucent plastic like the others. All the others have major stress fractures on them already.

I would have preferred purple and black or purple and blue. Purple with red do not go well together IMHO. My eyes are hurting.

Perhaps he ends up as both? We know that he existed in the Shattered Universe, and somehow the foursome will find him, perhaps convert him to an Autobot in the new timeline, or whatever they are doing.

My guess is that he bounces from one "reality" to the other. From Shattered Glass to Universe.

It’s a very interesting piece, and I can hardly wait to see it combined. Though, I have to pass as I can not afford it as of the moment.

Always being broke is not fun.

I like the color scheme. Sad the did not even give him a new head. Wonder if they saved that for the Gestalt head.

He is slightly mis-trasformed. The bottom sections of his feet should fold up and onto his shins.

Also with all the translucent plastic in the set already you;d think this guy would have at least some.


All in all looks pretty good. Though since I'm not a TFCC member i won't be getting it.

Did they misassemble his crotch, or did they just mistransform it? I think this might be my last year as a member. The club has been nothing but regret and disappointment for me.

Other than being rotated 180 degrees, there is nothing wrong with the crotch. Screws should technically be on the back.

But either way, the crotch is fine.

Energon Barricade, backside. Notice the screws and the vent like design on the crotch.

Looks really good to me. No real surprise that it's a remold of the E-Barricade mold (though this is the only actual confirmation, it's been a given for some time now), but judging from these pics it's gonna be worth the wait.

I can't wait to finish my club combiner. I just wonder what the head sculpt is going to look like.

You know, I actually like that pic of him with the tabs down. Gives him more articulation.

He gets kind of articulated ankles yes, though I'm not sure if the hinge there can support the weight. But yeah I see your point.

Why do I say that? Because there are no Translucent bits...and, well, without translucent bits he just wont match up well at all.

I like it. I've always liked this mold.

If the combiner head is really nice, he may go into combined mode...maybe.

Hmm, no translucent plastic. I was kinda hoping he'd be at least part translucent. I still like it and can't wait.

Off to the club store to order Breakaway .

I like the looks of him. Now this has got me wanting to get the others.

These images are just mock ups, not the final version. He will have translucent parts whe the final toy is actually complete. Debate is still on about whether it'll be the blue or red though.

As for the figure, both Heatwave and the Gestalt, I definitely approve.

I'm not currently a TFCC member, but will rejoin in time for Botcon...joining the club actually pays for itself in the discount they give you on the Primus Package (the one with the boxset) alone.

The __________ Maximus naming scheme sucks. It was cool on Fort Max, but the Energon names were stupid.

That would be a real cool way to sort of unify the alternate Cybertron storylines as well. The whole Alhpa Trion Transtech unioverse with the Shattered Glass one. Could yield an interesting story line in itself right there.
