i would like to see a soundwave figure not a repaint cybertron one but new one like ironhide, galvatron, hound, for example possbliy a millitary hummer very simlar and close to his G1 counter part.

Should they, yes, will they, not likely.

Maybe after ROTF.

Sure they should. Will they? Probably not. If you want an updated Soundwave to fit in with your Classics/TFU I suggest picking up the Music Label version. He fits in nicely. As for Blaster, I'm afraid he is heading down the path of always being a Soundwave repaint now. I hope I'm wrong, I would love an updated version.

Thats exactly what I did. A little expensive but after putting reprolabels on him he works great with my display.

Dragons, I believe that Soundwave and Rhinox are next for the Universe 2.0 treatment after the movie. But I don't know how much better the new Soundwave would be compared to the Music Label version.

They only improvement I can see, would be removal of the electronics and addition of storage for minions of some sort.

With the removal of electronics also comes one more thing - waist articulation.

Oh - and they'd probably give it 'normal' Transformer hands.

HOWEVER, odds are it'd be a complete redesign and not look exactly like Music Label.

I have Music label SW and I'd get another as a Universe version!

If the did redo him though, it would be nice if he was bigger to accommodate Ravage. I think the chest cavity of Music Label SW would be too small for the new tapes.

Yes I would love to see him made. As a tape player, and as close to his G1 one as possible.

But you know Hasbro will probably never make one, as with Shockwave and Arcee. All characters people want redone in Classics but will never get it. Or wait they'll probably waste those characters on repaints, and repaints of designs that barely look like them; kinda like what they've done so far.

I'd have to disagree. I don't think they should do Classics version of Soundwave and Blaster because they couldn't do justice to the originals (unless they did use the ML version). I would like to see Legends versions of these two but other than that I'd say no.

Actually, the designer said he'd like to see Soundwave and Rhinox be remade for Universe. It might be possible, but it was never said that we would get either one.

I wouldn't hold my breath, really.

It's possible we could see Soundwave if they remold Music Label's offering, beyond that, I sincerely doubt we'll see one. If TF2 is successful, (which is more than likely) that might help our chances.

Although, considering how cheap the tech behind MP3 players is now...I don't see how he'd be too expensive to bring over as is.

If they do a Classics 2.0 (or I guess Classics 3.0, since it would be after Revenge of the Faulklands) Soundwave I hope he's set up to accomodate his original minions & Classics 2.0 Ravage. I'm thinking Voyager sized sculpt with a new Rumble and Laserbeak, all packaged and sold as an Ultra.

Then we could get a Soundblaster repaint with Frenzy and Buzzsaw.

I could live with getting a Blaster out of the same mold as long as we got a new head.

I thought they did a soundwave in the Classics line that came with Ravage and Lazerbeak. I could see them doing a Blaster based off of that.
