TF08.net has posted a picture a Silverbolt repaint. It is unclear which character this may be, but the figure does bear a Decepticon insignia. Discuss the possible character here.

Also of interest is a picture that shows four of the recently seen figures together for scale.

Color scheme makes me think Dreadwind/Darkwing.

The gold lightning bolts are pretty much proof that it is Darkwing.

Hmm.. I have Dreadwind, and he is awesome because a) he has a new head and b) the mold can be displayed in different configurations so he looks quite different from Jetfire/Skyfire. I highly recommend looking him up on Ebay.

But while it would be nice to have the pair - and I think it is great that Hasbro have done this - Darkwing I will definitely not pick up unless he has a new head.

So bring on robot mode pics! :)

Agreed... the decorations are pretty distinctly an homage to Darkwing.

Now, wouldn't it be cool if they added some of the pegs that are on the bottom of Jetfire's booster-pack to this toy, so you could actually connect it to Botcon Dreadwind?

Oohh, that's a great point. I don't think the chances of it happening are huge, but it seems like it could work.

Rawr! CRAZY! It's actually Thunderwing!

(I hate the colours, but I'll probably pick the Purple Fighter when it comes out)

I think it's Whisper.

Darkwing seems likely from the colour scheme, although if they've lost the name, they might hang a Micromaster name on it. I just hope he has a new head.

Yeah, Hasbro keep saying that they plan for extra character heads from the start (of the designing process) now. So here's hoping.

A G1 Darkwing style head will probably equal a buy for me. A different gun would be good too, but it looks like the same one from the image.

There is only one Decepticon who is light grey, has purple wings, light blue tail fins, and gold lightning bolts! I just hope they can use the name "Darkwing" or "Decepticon Darkwing", not having to change it for trademark reasons. I'm worried he will be called Dreadwing instead because Hasbro does have that name.

I've seen someone digibash Silverbolt into Darkwing before, and the original head is actually a REMARKABLY good fit for Darkwing. All you need is modified paint applications, and it's a pretty close fit to the original toy.

Now here's a repaint that I can get behind, only bummer to it is that he'll be a head and a bit taller than dreadwind.

Dang, I kept hoping the inevitable Silverbolt repaint would be Whisper.

Darkwing would have been better suited to Jetfire's mold, even if they already made Dreadwind from that.

That's gotta be Darkwing, none the less, the paint scheme is just like Darkwing. I wonder if the face is going to remain the same, cuz it's gonna suck if it's still Silverbolt's face with a different paint job, Darkwing's face does not have human-like features like Silverbolt.

Actually he does, just with a visor instead of eyes

Even if it's a strict repaint and not a remold, I don't think many fans will be complaining.

Hasbro should have re-tooled it to be a powermaster. looks like knockout may be a deluxe.

Wow.......I think Hasbro is inside my brain or something :P I Just got Dreadwind...and now I'll have his partner in crime too :D Perfect...

and I'm personally glad they Didn't make him a Powermaster...the gimmick of having a transformer that needs a key to transform is vastly overrated :P

Here's hoping we can get Classics Percepter next (thinks real hard)

I have silverbolt, but I love the mold. I might have to get this.
Only if it has a new head though.
