Again note the plug on Jetfire's back...(I brought this up in the last thread). It's quite reduced compared with that in the leaked prototype images.

Jetfire has a plug.




Optimus has a slot (back roof of his cab).




I'll be interested to see if it serves the purpose I would speculate it does.

Our very own Bumbethumper has brought to our attention that TF08 has new images of two upcoming Legends class toys.
First of is Transformers Universe Legends Wheely in alt-mode:


The second one is Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Legends class Jetfire in a misstransformed alt-mode:

Wheelie looks awesome.

Jetfire looks like crap. Looks more like a Mini-con than a Legend.

I will have to get Wheelie when he comes out. That looks better than the origional.

I hope the bigger Jetfire toys look a lot better than that does. Poo is the only word that comes to mind. It is obviously some kinds of plane, but whats up with the wings? Mistransformed?

Wheelie superior. Jetfire inferior.

lol, you can say that again. I think I'll be picking up the annoying little bugger myself. Then I have an excuse to buy the TFC Wheelie/Kup set.

If this points to a possible combination between the larger prime and the larger Jetfire. I'm going to have to buy them.

I never thought I'd live in a world where Wheelie was cool. But THAT is a funky little legend. I'd like to see it in a full-sized figure .

Wheelie looks pretty sweet but Jetfire is mistransformed and looks like he just crashed or lost a battle with Megs.

Interesting! I wonder if this is confirmation of their combining in the movie, that would be great.

I dunno. When the rumours first started appearing, initially I was against it. But the idea of combining legends is pretty cool. Even if the combined form is rather craptastic and rudimentary, it adds interest, makes something a little more unique. A legends based combiner Devastator would be awesome(in addition of course, to a larger figure).

I don't think we can really confirm the Prime/Jetfire thing until someone gets hold of the toys and demonstrates what's possible. From here, it looks like it could work, but we don't even know if the peg and hole are the same dimensions to fit together.

Even if they do fit, and even if a pretty good combined mode can be produced, we still can't be sure whether it's a toy-only feature, or based on an actual scene from the movie.
