I was looking at some stuff on Tfw2005 and they found some new pics of Fansprojects Shadow Commander so I thought I could show it to the people on Seibertron. Its kinda strange but now we get "Elimination Marks" for Shadow Commanders gun.

Other news is that if you check out the preorder page for him on BBTS it says Shipping in Mid December 2008

I don't plan on getting this one just because I really don't feel the need for a "Nemesis Magnus" (and I REALLY want the City Commander kit)...But it DOES look pretty sweet...

And I think the elimination marks are badass!

Well...it's about a week past "mid december", so shouldn't this set be arriving in the mail soon? I pre ordered it about a week after I heard about it. I'm hoping to get it in time for Christmas.

Did you get any stickers with your set?

Congrats Stepenus. I know your Christmas is now officially awesome. I'm still waiting for mine...or some kind of confirmation that it's going to be sent soon. Three quick questions for you though:

1) Where did you order yours from? I ordered mine from BBTS.

2) How's the plastic quality? I hear it's supposed to be better than City Commander's.

3). Do the Shadow Commander arm attachments scratch the paint on Nemesis Prime's forearms? I heard that was a common problem with attaching the City Commander armor onto classics Optimus. It probably also scratched the paint on Magnus too, but no one could really tell because he was white.

Anyways, congrats again.

Many thanks, the toy was mighty fine. And here's the answers to your questions:

1) I got mine from my local retailer (here in Singapore). He's been nice enough to accept my advance payment way before this thing arrived, so I was ensured of a piece.

2) The plastic on Shadow feels more refined than the one on the City, although the differences are rather minimal.

3) I've just made a check on my Nemmy's arms and they looked just alright. I guess the inevitable will happen should we decided to play with it too much, but as I was only taking pictures for the first time and replacing them back into package, it was okay.

Hey wait a second you can get Shadow Commanders in stores that arent on the internet. Wow!

On the stores are definitely not the normal retail stores dude, its the speciality shops I was talking about, and even then, not all specialty shops carry it.

Is his face molded different from City Commander? I can't tell because of the colour difference...

Well Fansproject told us that they were gonna give Shadow Commander two faces. One with a mouth and the other with a faceplate.
