Seibertron.com member Starscream has just informed us of some new images he's come across revealing Transformers Animated Voyager figures in an alternated type of packaging.

These images show the Voyager class figures in a Leader Class type box and in robot mode, different from the previous release of the figures in a wider box featured in their alternate modes.
No other details on the figures is available at the time of posting.
You can view the original listings for these figures
here and
here.

Awesome, I'll have to retain from buying Voyagers till these hit shelves as these are far more appealing and better to store!

so they just put them in bot form and turned the packaging on it's side.
Seems like a waste of time.

It's interesting. These are definiely NOT just turned on their side. The boxes are a new size / shape. Similar, but not just rotated.
I am guessing these are our first look at international releases of these figures. Similar to the Battle damaged movie prime.

Really? I'm looking and I'm seeing the same divets and cut-in that I expect from Animated packaging. the only difference is in the pacement of thge characted image and name tag, other than that they are quite similar.

Not bad. Wonder why they decided to change?

At least with the Starscream packaged like that you can easily tell whether or not his head is attached. *bitter joke*

Optimus has been available like this in the Asian market for some months now. Almost bought one in summer I think.

More importantly, I will finally be able to see if a particular Starscream has a decent face paintjob!

I'd like a non-self-disassembling Starscream toy.

I think I posted about it on here, and you are correct. The seller who had it on ebay was yu_giland. I passed on it around this summer and wish I wouldnt have now. Havent seen him since but maybe we'll get them too.

Same product same box, only difference is that they put the graphics on vertically and the fig in botmode. Big deal. I prefer the normal type of packaging them.
