Bumblebee Universe G1 Legend Class pictures

Picked this up at http://www.hasbro.com/transformers/universe/default.cfm?page=Products/Detail&product_id=23042
The transformation is actually pretty cool even though it's not a VW. It does have some room for people to mod. The legs are similar to what I would expect for a G1 cartoon accurate bumblebee.

*EDIT: I agree bending knees would be nice. Then again so would elbows.

I'm removing some of my images since Seibertron has posted their own. http://www.seibertron.com/toys/gallery.php?id=1666&size=0&start=0

That looks nice but since I discovered how awesome the activators are, I'm gonna pass on the legends versions(for now).

I found Bumblebee, Beachcomber, and Brawn (like 4 of each) at a WalMart but didn't have any cash on me...Went back the next day and ALL were gone... >:(

After scouring all the various stores all I've been able to get my hands is Brawn...

Stores around me in MI suck. A Walmart in KY had a much larger selection. Thank goodness for Hasbro Online.

Except the Activators are Animated, this is Classics G1.

Meanwhile, having both the Animated Legends and the Classics Legends, I'm shocked at how poorly articulated the Classics Legend is. There's MORE than enough room for thicker calved, which would allow for a balljointed leg. As it is, it's only marginally more articulated than the G1. It LOOKS better, but it's not really BUILT better.

it's a good toy, but it could have used knees.

I bet RI sucks more, even though we're Hasbro's home, we're more considered an afterthought on new toy releases.

Honestly this legends version looks more Animated than G1(except the head).

MI is the last place to get anything new. TF's, DVD's, video games, comics, plus that last con I've ever seen in MI was a Star Trek con from 1993. :?

Actually, DVDs, Video Games and Comics all have a national street date, so Michigan isn't the last place to get them. Plus, there is the Motor City Comic Con in Novi, MI every May. Just trying to help out a fellow Michigander.

Nice looking figure, but that's one pitiful headsculpt. The Animated Legend and Activator Bumblebee headsculpts are so much more alive and fun.

I think it is the whole G1 thing. Hound and Cyclonus have the same blank expression.

I think you can still put a bit of life into G1. He doesn't have to look like someone took his lunch money.

Classics Bumblebee looks so much more confident.

Been thinking about getting an Activators Bee to update my Bee for my collection. Kinda worried that the joints on activaotrs aren't tight, anyone have experience w/ these?

ALso thinking that if I do that, then Bee will look VERY large next to Brawn, so Brawn will need to get an update too, which isn't doable in the near future until a suitable sculpt comes along for customizing...

Ideas?

Don't pass on the activators. They might look small and insignificant.
They are not. I bought none of them until Thundercracker and then I was hooked. Think of a 3 3/4 Joe, only it's a Transformer. Full articulation, fast transformation and they won't take up an extra room or wall to display.
