I bought Universe Nemmy the day he came out, but he is still in stock on HTS. I checked in every 15 minutes to see. I feel like a moron.

You waited on him or you didn't? I'm confused. If you like him, and got him, that's all that matters.

This topic confuses me.
I don't like being confused...

I got him as soon as he was available and I don't regret it one bit. I subscribe to the rule of "If you see it for a price you're willing to pay, get it for if you don't you might not see it again."

Nope.
Passed on past precedent, it was the smart thing to do.
And I'm surprised they still have him in stock, especially with the upcoming Shadow Commander armor.

Excellent collecting strategy!

I think what he means is he sat there the morning it became available checking HTS every 15 minutes to see if it was in stock under the assumption it would sell out that day. Now here it is months later and it's still available. It happens and most of us have had similar expieriences. Like driving all over creation like a maniac to find a figure as soon as it has been sighted only to have it show up at your local Wal-Mart a week later.

Well I bought it on eBay for double the price before they even hit HTS. Skywarp too.
Win some, lose some. With exclusives you can never be too careful.

Aye, though it's bitten me in the ass more times that I care to count.

Was this figure a SDCC exclusive? (I am getting some fo the exclusives confused.) If it was, then I am not surprised that it didn't sell out. The past several SDCC exclusives seem to have been made in an over abundance.

Yeah, but he meant because of the HTS/Nemesis Prime deal!

Maybe in general, but definitely not with many of the more recent figs. The small forture many of us could have saved taking advantage of the Amazon (and to a lesser extent HTS) deals earlier this month had we not already paid full retail price or more (if ordered from an online store) for the figs right when they came out...

Yea, I thought to myself today, if I had been smart enough, and sleezy enough, I should have bought a stack of the Universe Ultras and Animated Voyagers when they were on sale at HTS that day for $10 +25% off, and pulled the receipt swap on a return when Target got ones I wanted in. But I don't think I could bring myself to do that, and if I did, god would curse me with nothing I wanted at target.

Actually, I did not feel stupid for it. But I was after other exclusives as well. I was able to snag a couple of the Blue jacket cobra commanders, the variant anyway, before they were sold out, as well as, a few versions of the black suited non-variant commander.
Compared to eBay Prices this was anywhere from a paying $10 for a $60 item, or paying $10 for a $100 item.
Sure Nemesis did not sell out, but in the past Alternators Nemesis did, and Rodimus as well. For the most part, it was still time well spent for me.
