Instructions For Revenge Of The Fallen... Dead End

ACtoys.net- The red scout-sized Revenge of the Fallen Decepticon car had a few names associated with it. Most recently it was decided based on eBay auctions that it should be called Detour.

cmg at ACtoys has other ideas. He has proof that the toy is named one of the more popular choices... Dead End.

What is his proof you might ask? None other than an image of the instruction sheet featuring the name for the bot formerly know as Laserbeak, Detour, and now DEAD END.

You can view the original ACtoy thread here, which has a nice set of pictures of Dead End, but as you scroll down also reveals the picture of the name on the instructions also uploaded below.

Wow... not only do the photos of the toy prototypes come out blurry... the photos of the instruction sheets do, too.

When he first appeared on the Net, many guessed he could be Laserbeak.

As more sources got pics of him, his rumored name turned into both Dead End and Detour.

Now we know that it's Dead End for sure.

Sometimes I think the blurry pictures are a result of them having to take a picture of something quickly and sneakily.

But this is good news. Even if it is the most fugly car in the universe, my little Dead End collection gets a new member. Taking me up to five Dead Ends!

Anyone figure out what king of car he's supposed to be? Best suggestion I've heard is a Peugeot 9009 concept car, maybe just close enough to not be officially licensed.

As they did the same with many of the non-movie characters' vehicle modes last time, and even in the 'more realistic vehicle' aspect for Universe 2.0, that's quite likely.

Since there is no movie Motormaster at this point, that would be a no.

He's probably a non-movie character. Peugeots are insanely expensive, especially concepts.
