ALpha Trion
Looks cool but I think you meant for this to go in the toys forum not HMW

Wouldn't suprise me if it was a BotCon exclusive.
Though it would defeat the theory that the 5 year club combiner would be Alpha Trion.

It's pretty damn awesome. If it is included in the box set, I may have to order one now.

WOW! (no not World of Warcraft) I have been holding off of buying that mould. However, I would surely buy that one. That kicks @ss!

Betcha he will be the same as Megatron was last year. I am thanking my lucky stars that me AND my wife are going to Botcon this year.

but these are not mentioned as being members of the boxed set. Not that I want one or anything, but for those who cannot attend and do want one, are these gonna be available through mail?

Nope. This will most likely be one of the Convention Souvenir purchases (my guess-kinda like Darksyde Megs last year). You have to be there to buy one...or you could wait for Ebay and the other store sites like BBTS to sell their limited quantities.

I would think that their repeated insistence that it wasn't would have defeated that theory long ago. As for this guy, wow. So glad I'm going again this year. He looks pretty legit to me. The Cyber key is what clinches it for me. Unless this guy made it himself, that key has never been molded in yellow. Or other colors possible to dye it to that color. On another note, this seller seems to get test shots and other things we've yet to see on a regular basis as well. So what does this say for the extras? I would assume he'd be the high price point item like last years Megatron. Leaving Huffer as the freebie and either Springer or Alita-1 as the other figure available for purchase. That would leave the one not offered as an open slot for a later club exclusive akin to the recent Airazor. Man, I'm so exited I can't stop typing. HOLD ME!! Heh.

He looks nice, but I have one criticism (other than the fact that I'll never be able to get one):
The all gold Vector Prime planet key looks ridiculous. They should have remolded to look like the key to Vector Sigma or they should have used C-Optimus's Matrix-shaped key and vacuum-metalized the minicon to look like the key to Vector Sigma.

I just PM'ed the seller asking him of his credentials on how he knows this is a botcon 2007 exclusive.

Not a bad looking representation. Not a must-buy for me, as I never have been a big fan of the Alpha Trion character (just have no interest, I guess...), but this looks like a great figure for those attending. The head sculpt is pretty dead-on!

Dude that looks so badass! Would he be considered a classic 'cause I think he would fit right in.

Great head sculpt & concept. I love that the Botcon people are filling the gaps and adding a richness and history to the franchise. I haven't been this excited about a lavender figure since the Japanese Beast Wars Galvatron dragon.

So, we finally know the alt mode for this guy.

Not a bad looking figure.

Now that's cool! I hope hasbro works this fig into the classics line or some other line after the movie figures.
