Transformers at the Moon has scans of the upcoming Argos Catalog which features upcoming UK Transformers Toys.

Interestingly enough, Universe Silverbolt is shown in his Japanese release 'USA Edition' coloring and is listed as "Argos Extra Only".

This looks promising, considering BBTS is sold out on a healthy portion of the Universe line.

Argos usually have at least 1 wrong TF picture in every new catalogue, so I'm not surprised that they've got the Henkei coloured Silverbolt there.

Then again, it wouldn't be the first time limited run Japanese figures have shown up in the UK.

If it is in fact Henkei Silverbolt, I think I may go crazy.

And then buy one and swap it out with my universe Silverbolt 8D

That price increase for animated deluxes is disgusting. As if we don't pay enough already. :?

Good to know if anything, Ill be able to pick up Universe Inferno sometime soon! :)

Dont know if anyone else knows this, but if you do ever wanna pick up TF's from Argos but arent sure of what they have, just fill in the little slip you would normally take to the counter and pay for, but instead, ask at the counter for the item on "customer review".

The requested item will brought to the collection desk and if in the case of TF's and 'styles/colours may vary' they will bring one of each item under that product code, then you can pick which one you want and pay for it at the pick up counter :)

Hope that made sense.. Ive been up many hours now.. lol

You can bet nearer the time of the movie toy line release, there will be an extra "insert" going into the store catalogue for the movie figures and merchandise :)

unless there already in the catalogue, on the right hand page with not available until may 09 or whenever the release date is.

In the past transformers normally get 2 pages but include all other cross over lines, fancy dress and merchandising etc etc.

As an Argos employee, I can promise you that the Silverbolt we have in the stockroom is exactly the same as the Silverbolt's that have been released with the other UK/Europe ultra class's.
I should know, I poke it to activate the sound effects to reduce the mundanity of my working day often enough.
Also we have four ultra's, not the two it states here. We have Silverbolt, Powerglide, his black repaint and Onslaught.
And waaaay more choice than just 8 Deluxes.

Oh?

You must scout out the deluxes out for us all mate. I bet I'm not the only one curious as to what universe figures we'll be spending cash on this spring!

Correct, for starters the japanese release has the same red for the whole chest including the landing gear, white upper legs and white shoulder armour, aside from that the plastic is overall too dark for the japanese release.

Haha, well, currently we've got the usual Acid Storm, Galvatron, Ironhide, etc. A good few Prowls and earlier releases are coming back in now too. But because the universe deluxe line is in both the old catalogue and the new one, we haven't had a visible change in the ones we've had in like we have with other toy lines (like the change from the main deluxe transformers going from movie figures to animated figures during the last catalogue change).

I have yet to see Cheetor's wave, but he should be in soon (saying that now I seem to remember seeing Hound end of last year, but I'm wasn't interested in him so I didn't take note. My mind may be playing tricks on me though). Dinobot's a bit far off, but hey, that's England.
Of course the closer your store is to London, the more recent the stock will be. And I'm right on the South coast.

Look at the jet mode pictures. Reference:

telltale sign for the jet mode is the missile and landing gear are a lighter shade of red than the button to activate the electronics, on the japanese release they're the same colour. The catalog picture clearly has two distinct shades of red. Also, on the japanese version, the rubbery nosecone of the jet is still gray, despite the jet being white, on the other it's all one colour, this is also true of the catalog pic.

Thaks for hearing me out, man. No knock against you or any of the news staff, don't get me wrong... I'd just hate to give people looking to buy the japanese release domestically a false sense of hope.
